@Rivertonmick Please stop with the discussion about a mobile device being capable of running MP. If you haven't read the entire post above then you are not understanding. I am not the one who created the MP MOD nor do I know how to do it or desire to spend hours figuring out how to program it. If you feel you are up to the task I suggest you do so. Create the MOD, make it available to all on Android.
It isn't that I am unwilling to allow Android MP, it is the basic fact I didn't make the MOD and the creators didn't release their work to the public for modification.

I wanted to save a few bucks by renting a Linux based server but, I wasn't able to figure out how to implement the ".exe" on it. I read something about how to do it. Some package you install on the server but, it didn't work when I tried.
The server I am renting is a VPS out of Germany, they have a server in the USA also so that's why I chose it.
@chemmey Only re-add them if you want. Otherwise I would delete them. You have a great build here and lots of upvotes. So, I would maintain your great post by fixing the issue. That's me. You do you ;)
@BetaFischYT So, I used the Domain name in SP MP and it works fine ROFL. You confused the hell out of me by calling it a ROLE PLAY server. I was imagining a website where you actually played a traditional role play game.
I was trying to access the "website" sp.pogames.tk because, I hadn't seen one of the game servers listed as a domain name, only as the IP address.
I will add it to my post so the word gets out.
What kind of specs is the server?
Will this be a 24/7 server?
@tsampoy Thanks. I was trying to give it a meaningful back ground so the "MP" would stand out like "SimplePlanes" does in front of the wing cross section. I think weapons are an integral part of SP. Engines are the first integral part but, weapons are just as cool.
I wish they would add lots more engine designs. They only need to really add shells basically and just use the same data for how they operate. More weapons would be really nice also.
@GroBaleaze Yes, it has been very active. Especially around the evening of Eastern Standard Time. I have seen several new comers and up to 6 people at once many times. Wish we could really put a load on the server so I can see what it's capable of handling for MP.

The instructions are also part of the post.
After a HOST server is created. The CLIENTS such as your friends will use that SERVER IP address to connect to it.
In SP Designer the MP button is located at the bottom. Once open you will see where to place that IP address.
@TheNightmareCompany They work on NO server. @HellFireKoder & @UnstableOrbit are the ones who built the MP MOD. Until they either share their MOD for making changes or do it themselves. It will only be BOMBS and MISSILES that destroy fellow MP's.
Matter of fact I am thinking of making a server #2 for fighting. So, nobody gets upset at "TROLLING". When you enter you commit to a "free for all" or whatever everyone else agrees to.

I have Comcast. I have their 1Gbps Down and 40Mbps up. It's pretty solid with the speed and the router I use is an IQRouter (their latest version). They have custom firmware which focuses on buffer float issues.
So, in the long run, what is the point of having your own home server when this game doesn't require the specs we all just dream of having? $6/month and the knowledge I won't have any downtime is better than having me host it. I live in an area that loses power often in storms. I live in the woods. We only got cable internet 2 years ago. Before that I needed 4 DSL lines and that didn't even come close to cutting it.

Actually, funny my friend had a hard drive from the 80's. The think was nearly the size of a single cinder block. If you were to tap it while it was running. BYE BYE DATA

Multiplayer has always been PC/MAC only. It's nothing against those on mobile devices. It has to do with a few things. While Android is easier to create and publish MODS for, iOS requires "signature verification". The only way to get this to happen is if Jundroo makes Multiplayer available as part of the game itself.
Though, I don't think that will happen. Then it would cause them up to have to have a dedicated server which they themselves would be on the hook to pay for. I am paying for the server from my own wallet. It's really not that much. It's less than feeding a starving child in a 3rd world country for sure. Much much cheaper.
(On a side note, it's ridiculous that someone can afford to rent a virtual server for basically $7.00 USD / month, yet people are starving. Sorry to be a downer)
@JeffChandler Had you already joined previously? If you join, leave and try joining again via the MP button you tend to get "failed to join" or a random "ROOM".
Pay attention to this specifically if it states "Failed to Join" or "Joined Channel "Random #"
It should always state "Channel 0"
Also, what UserName were you using? I will take a look at the server and see if the failure was on the server end.
@Creativit Love it. Though both Japan servers seemed to have been down for a long while now. He said Server #2 would be up but, it's not and hasn't been. That is why I jumped on making another server. I didn't want people to stop playing multiplayer.

We have SP and SR2. While everyone is really playing with SP, you have this group of people pushing SR2. SR2 is getting too much attention with updates/additions for how many players are using it. IMO it's a sinking ship and the effort needs to be put into SP or the whole thing is going to flop one day.
