@PlaneCrafterCreativePark You can go to NASA for your pilot career because they keep making and testing Experimental planes and there are many careers available in NASA because NASA is not only a space agency it is an aeronautical company also.

maybe one day, tho flight school is very expensive, wether it's the air force or civilian pilot. I know for sure that if I want something, I can do it, but money is the problem...
I read somewhere on youtube that you can take a trial flight in your local airport if it's allowed, so an instructor teaches you in flight and stuff.

@LieutenantSOT wow good you are in the US but I am in India even for fighter pilots you have to do a lot of tests, lots of procedures, and a lot of money. and the man who becomes an airline pilot has an enormous amount of money to fight school fees. In some countries, people are not interested in aviation like in my country.

I'm going into the USAFA after high school. But I would never work as an airliner pilot. I like the smaller jets (I wanna fly the F-22). I suddenly became a huge aviation nerd, alongside my already-present Astrophysics and Chemistry nerdship.
But yeah, I want to join the USAF (3 out of every 1000 applicants make it to be a fighter pilot)

You could be a ramp agent/line service technician is I believe the actual proper name, that’s what I do in the winter, pretty cool job
All you do is, well everything, you get to marshal planes in, fuel them, help unload or load them then help around with towing airplanes or possibly other stuff around the airport
Only complaints are you don’t get a actual set lunch break, and lunch is almost always interrupted by something arriving at random, and your time to head home despite being set at say 6pm, may actually not work out because again, random airplanes or randomness at the end of your shit require you to stay longer,
But the good is all the over time, the cool airplanes and people you see, and pretty good wages
All said, I would recommend this job, pretty sweet

Nope. I was and still am happy I was just a maintainer. I used to be a gas turbine mechanic for 10 years. I love working on engines. My favorite part was test and check. Especially when I was pushing max power.
