One of my fictional companies Cascade Aircraft will be producing both certified and experimental kitplanes and I have a 2-seat bush plane in mind I'd like to make, but I'm currently caught up in "defense contracts" with Rainier Aerospace. :\
@BACconcordepilot
Yea it is pretty sad, but he didn't want to land. ATC tried to convince him, but not only did he not want to land cause he'd go to jail for quite some time, but he probably didn't know how to land the Q400 either. From what I heard, the Q400 is quite notorious for being difficult to land. But it actually sounds like he crashed due to fuel starvation, not by deliberately crashing. He mentions one of his engines cutting out.
UPDATE: He's not a mechanic, he was an airport maintenance personal, so that's probably how he had such easy access to a Q400. Also, the Q400 took off with very little fuel, so the pilot didn't have much flight time and most likely crashed due to fuel starvation.
Ha, I'm working on a new UCAV very similar to this design, except my new UCAV is gonna be a deployable "wingman" that you can mount on a bomber or a large interceptor.
Didn't one of the devs in the latest minor update say they were going to do a 1.8 update? I believe SP will probably only receive major updates until 2.0 MAX.
@Squirrel
The F-104's design was the perfect point-defense interceptor, kinda like the E.E. Lightning. It's just Lockeed sold it as a "strike fighter". It was a great plane, but it was used in a role (strike fighter and attacker) that made it a hazard to fly while conducting those missions it WASN'T designed for at all, which is why it had such a high accident rate.
I know what movie scene you took as inspiration for the Pitts racing that dirt bike....
Iron Eagle!
Pitts vs Dirt Bike inspired by the scene where Doug races against Knotcher in his Cessna 152 Aerobat and Knotcher on a dirt bike. Never seen a 152 look so badass XD. Kudos to Art Scholl for the awesome stunt flying in the 152, too bad he died while later flying for Top Gun. RIP.
It's a pretty sad world we live in. I don't think memes are totally bad, many of them are pretty hilarious, but this "culture" spawning from memes and vines can get a little toxic.
Btw you still working on that space plane you posted about a year ago?
OH so this is what you've been working on this whole time? Sweet! Welcome back!
+1@greasytortle
+1That's what it reminds me of too (EDI).
It looks like a flying torpedo...
Neat!

@FENRIRpapapa
Np!
@BaconRoll
Same lol
Sweet freaking plane though.
Oh yes, Project Skeeter will be PERFECT for this!
Congrats, you predicted the future!
The UK's next generation fighter to replace the Eurofighter will be the BAE Systems Tempest...

:'(
DUDE, this is sooo well done! How did you get it to look so realistic???

+1@Tacocat16
Well there was an explosion on impact, but the fire wasn't that big, indicating very little fuel.
@BACconcordepilot
I'm guessing he ran out of fuel.
Some were speculating the F-15's shot it down because many heard a loud booms/bangs, but that could have been from the Q400 impacting the island.

+1Take it from me, about 60% of what I know in aviation came from my experience in FSX.
Beautiful and very creative and original!
The Tomcat's tea-sipping British cousin...

No idea.
@FastDan
+5GTA V in real life...
Still need to make my logo for Rainier Aerospace.
+1I think I'll call it Bob.
+3Wow that is so awesome, and that is one beautiful Piper Arrow!
+1About time someone made this! Now I'm hungry for beans n' chili.
+1@mikoyanster
Thanks for scoring it.
I think it's biggest drawback is the lack of detail overall, and the fact the design is pretty unstable, especially at high altitudes.
@breitling
Oh jeez no I haven't...
I bet it ends up with LOTS of sink holes lol.
The Pe-8 looks like the B-17's commie brother who's made of stalinium and runs on vodka.
@LegnaK
I got the inspiration from the Flip Knight system in the Yukikaze novel.
@LegnaK
I'll tag you when I finish the prototype unlisted.

Eh, close enough lol.
Now the real question is: Can I eat the whole convoy with this?

Tu-4 in a nutshell: The B-29's commie brother who runs on pure vodka and is made of stalinium.

Now THAT is a hot rod!

@Texasfam04
Yea I already saw, it's pretty epic!
If the tail was smaller, this would be really great.
Kinda looks like a cross between a P-51 and a Curtiss Helldiver.
+3@Razor3278
+1Thanks, glad you liked it!
@mikoyanster
+1Btw I'm part of Blue Team (forgot to add it into the description)
@Z3RO
Wow really? What did you think of it?
@Z3RO
Np, this thing is epic, and pretty badass looking!
