Ok, listen up everybody!
Why does New Zealand look so cool? Maybe it’s because you’re literally flying over Middle Earth.
White squares sure make nice paintings
-gasp- A replica!
Al the times I've spawned an AI plane only to have it nose-dive into the water...
Thanks! It honestly surprised me a lot. I kinda put this together as an afterthought.@Hyattorama
Are you brush painting? If you're brush painting, carefully paint the the frames with a fine brush, and then use a toothpick to gently scratch away any excess paint that is not on the frames. It is important to use acrylic paint for this, as it dries softer and can be scratched off easily, unlike enamel paint which dries very hard. If that is the Dogfight Doubles kit, then it comes with acrylic paint. @Maxwell1
Is that fpsrussia? I can't tell cause the picture's blurry @F104Deathtrap
I just saw a hot air balloon do a vertical. Welcome to FSX Steam Edition
LOOPS IN A FREAKING DASH-8
fsx in a nutshell @merasmusthewizard
11/10 most beautiful plane
If hyponotoad came back with a new plane, it would instantly go to the top of the all time highest rated. RIP legend
(Read in british accent for best effect): -puffs cigar- When I was a wee lad, the best Triebflugel we had was Skua's, bless his heart.-sniffs- You children are spoiled, getting all the best creations delivered straight to your doorstep. Highly detailed too.-scoffs- Back then, if you wanted an obscure aircraft, you had to settle for whatever you could find, dear boy! None of this "choice" nonsense. Well, I'm off to play a game of bridge now. Cheerio, lad.
I think he needs one @Strikefighter04
Ima stop there because I really don’t wanna see the Banhammer @AWESOMENESS360
You got a boyfriend
I bet he doesn’t kiss ya! @AWESOMENESS360
This looks really good. Your building skills have really improved a lot, and it shows. My only complaint is that this is way too maneuverable. This handles like an Extra 300, not a commuter plane. Realistically this should probably take about twice the width of Yeager to turn, maybe more. I also feel like the stall speed is a little too slow. If you need some inspiration to how something like this should handle, check out some video of Bob Hoover’s Aero Commander aerobatic routine. Not trying to be nitpicky or anything, and this is a really beuatiful build! :)
Thanks! I forgot to credit you in the description for helping with the wings and such. I’ll add that now @Hyattorama
Cuz the designers forgot to add textures
Great! Hope to see a build or two! @Hyattorama
Sorry to hear that. At least we’ll have you around a bit longer though! :) @Hyattorama
Wait you’re still here?! @Hyattorama
It’s definitely not particularly intelligent. @Strikefighter04
That is definitely not the most intelligent thing to do, and seems almost ridiculously risky to anyone observing. However, we do have to keep in mind that two people died as a result of that incident. What they did may have been ill-advised, but imagine how their family must feel, or their friends. They’re not laughing at the stupidity of it all. They’re mourning the loss of someone they love. I’m not trying to criticize you for making this post in any way. Just foood for thought.
Adios good sir! Safe travels!
Oh ok. Hopefully it shouldn’t take too long :) @Hyattorama
Hey- I have a bush plane I’ve been working on recently. Can I tag you in an unlisted? I’m having a little trouble with the flight dynamics. Would you be able to help?
Not trying to make enemies or anything but isn’t that a bit political?@PlanesOfOld
I use imgur. It’s a little bit more finicky, but it works for me.
Thanks! I guess you’re kind of the expert on early aviation around here so it means a lot! @PlanesOfOld
They go up diddley up up, they go down diddley down down! @Tang0five
You should try to build it yourself. Consider it as a challenge and try to learn some new techniques! From what I’ve seen you seem to be a pretty capable builder. ;)
Hey man- you can’t copy a creation that’s not yours. Check out the rules here
I can run 1500+ part builds on my iphone 7. So that could be an option instead of a pc @Carbonfox1
@HistoricBirds There's ww2 stuff at Oshkosh, and it's actually flying!
As someone who has esy access to NASM, I would choose Oshkosh. True, some of the most groundbreaking and famous aircraft in history are at NASM, but they’re just sitting there. Oshkosh has 30,000 aircraft FLYING. @HistoricBirds
Fallout: EA @F104Deathtrap
The basket case doesn’t have 1500 yet. Right now I think it has around 250 or so. @Hyattorama
Pretty good! I have only been able to work on it sporadically, but all of the main structure is there. I also got a new phone which can handle much higher part counts (my old phone started getting really laggy at about 250 parts, my new one can handle at least 1500.) @Hyattorama
Whoops! I hadn't heard of that aircraft. :)@Hyattorama
