@Boeing727200F Probably not. Those devices are not so well-suited to applying force to an object so tiny as I am.
Honestly my abnormal durability is probably my greatest virtue, considering how otherwise ineffectual I am.
It's funny, isn't it?
I have connections like no other, am the voice of a manufacturing giant, have actual divine right to my duties, and head a well-funded paramilitary organization, yet can barely accomplish anything in the world.
That must surely be some sort of record for most squandered opportunity. Surely.
@YarisSedan Ooh, what kind of museum?
I like museums. I'm also a terrible person to go to museums with because I often insist on reading virtually everything even though I can't retain a fraction of it.
I spent like six(?) hours in the Royal Tyrrell Museum. I can't remember squat but I spent six hours there.
@Boeing727200F Oof, that sucks. I think I once saw part of one in a museum? Honestly I'm not sure exactly what that was, it's been a while.
Use quote blocks, they're easier to read.
I am unimaginably hard.
Don't worry, Graingy's rolling stock has never been a big part of our image. The big ones were never products, just business.
Isn't doing everything in-house wonderful?
@Boeing727200F Wait that's the freighter version?
Lmao.
Seems you've went from a freight plane to a freight train!
Hey, here's a Monarchii-level pun for you:
What do you call a locomotive that can do magic tricks?
A sleight train!
@Boeing727200F Freaky shit.
Actually, I've been meaning to ask: Why the Boeing 727-200F? Of all planes to name your new SP account after, why that one?
@TheLoadingGorilla If you're against the idea of Lucifer being a somewhat sympathetic character or Adam being a genuine prick, you'd probably not like it.
Well, sort of. It's not just a boring "Demons good Angels bad" inversion (for the most part it is indeed the other away around), it's just that some folk are extremely rigid about these things and how they should be depicted.
@TheLoadingGorilla Adult animated musical on Amazon Prime.
I've not seen it myself, but it's... controversial, to say the least. Mostly because of its gratuitous crudeness and subpar writing, mixed with sufficiently excellent animation and music to attract a large fanbase. Put bluntly, the creator managed to get her DeviantArt OCs on television while getting Bezos to pay for it.
To massively summarize the plot:
Hell is realm in more or less anarchy where sinners torment each other, Heaven had begun sending an army to cull Hell's population annually to avoid an uprising, the good-natured but naive Princess of Hell believes in redeeming sinners to avoid both problems. Stuff happens, conflict, drama, yadda yadda.
You can find endless piles of people fighting over if it's bad or not.
Informed consensus is: It's deeply flawed but not irredeemably so (joke intended).
I brought it up because you mentioned Heaven and Hell in your universe being similar to the world of the living. In Hazbin Hotel, Hell is awful 95% because it's full of awful people (be sinners or hellborn demons), not because there's a malicious devil poking people with a pitchfork or what have you.
Don't think too deeply on it.
@TheLoadingGorilla By "innermost being" do you mean something akin to a spirit or ghost?
Why would you be wary?
I've heard LotR is different and more advanced in its writing than The Hobbit, though I've not read it myself.
@TheLoadingGorilla Interesting. So it's definitely still in the concept development stage, but it does have a direction.
If the cage people are humans, what are everyone else? Also humans?
There's also the matter of style. I'm not at all well-read in terms of literature, but I do distinctly remember from reading The Hobbit that it had a very particular style in its prose. I... was not fond of it, in all honesty, but it could be argued that it served the sort of story it was well enough.
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 I used to be alright at math. Then something happened, not sure exactly what, and now I actually just cannot handle numbers in any meaningful capacity.
@ZealousKestrel I don't want to get involved in this, but I can recognize immaturity when I see it.
People are getting wayyyyy too aggressive over the SimplePlanes equivalent of a playground game. Kinda depressing, honestly.
@TitanVector Not to get engrossed in this nonsense, but you can helpfully critique someone's work without being an ass about it. It's a useful skill in life. Very useful when doing a collaborative project (which an RP is) with someone less skilled than you are.
@TheLoadingGorilla So, Bohemian Rhapsody without the Bohemian Rhapsody. I've very little musical knowledge, so I'm afraid I can't speak much to this. I definitely relate to the inability to put anything down on a page/program, though.
I once made a (I think) decently catchy tune in Chrome Music Lab, but idk where the link is (if I even still have it).
Do you have an overarching plot for the novel idea, or just a premise? Would you be willing to share your core idea?
It'd probably be wise to hone your skills with shorter works first, as to not overextend yourself. Do you have experience in prose? Would you be willing to share what you're thinking?
This is an area I have more experience in, but still not all that much.
@TheLoadingGorilla Good ape.
@TheLoadingGorilla How creative.
Got pronouns like an MS unit.
@TheLoadingGorilla Yeah idk how it performs either. That's why I summoned my minions.
@Boeing727200F Probably not. Those devices are not so well-suited to applying force to an object so tiny as I am.
+1Honestly my abnormal durability is probably my greatest virtue, considering how otherwise ineffectual I am.

@TheLoadingGorilla You're to judge the plane, not their court case.
But yeah they totes guilty.
@TheLoadingGorilla He

@YarisSedan Shame.
+1Don't wipe things, though. You'll never be able to go back and see how you've improved (or find things you actually liked).
Minions, judge.
Now make a wolf :)
@Boeing727200F Wait that's the freighter version?
Lmao.

What do you call a locomotive that can do magic tricks?
A sleight train!
@YarisSedan You have shared, is what you're saying? Where?
+1Maybe I could take a look, see if I could make any suggestions or critiques?
Neat looking plane.
@Conjure76 Hm. I'm still waiting on something, though I did tag the CM.
@YarisSedan Have you ever shared any here?
+1Was your issue the core concepts, how they were tied together, or how you articulated them?
@TheLoadingGorilla Skill issue on the cactus's part.
@TheLoadingGorilla Coward. You just gotta lock in, trust.
... Ignore that this advice is coming from the perspective of someone hard as a diamond.
@Boeing727200F Freaky shit.
Actually, I've been meaning to ask: Why the Boeing 727-200F? Of all planes to name your new SP account after, why that one?
@TheLoadingGorilla The tree and what you can see from it?
@TheLoadingGorilla The Internet is a big place. You don't seem the type to frequent the same places I, for instance, would.
@Boeing727200F Did you get out?
Heh.
@TheLoadingGorilla I don't have Amazon Prime so I couldn't watch it even if I wanted to. I've seen clips, that's good enough.
@TheLoadingGorilla If you're against the idea of Lucifer being a somewhat sympathetic character or Adam being a genuine prick, you'd probably not like it.

@TheLoadingGorilla So yeah Hazbin Hotel /s

@TheMouse Look at this twig. You can chew on it.
+2Good for your teeth.
A work of art.
@TheLoadingGorilla Hazbin Hotel /j
Spotlighted for the thumbnail.
HE COMIN
@TheLoadingGorilla By "innermost being" do you mean something akin to a spirit or ghost?
Why would you be wary?
I've heard LotR is different and more advanced in its writing than The Hobbit, though I've not read it myself.
Good luck.
@Kav Don't I know it...

Wait a minute...
How did you get curated in three days!?
@Conjure76 Preaching to the choir.
@ComradeSandman hi :)
@Subsere Never would've figured...
@Chunkycheese I'm not the person to apologize to. I'm an observer, not a participant.

@Boeing727200F Children. Actual children.
Hi.
First rule of SimplePlanes.com:

@DDVC To quote what I said to Mrcooldude:
@TheLoadingGorilla You're doing piano lessons, I believe you've mentioned?
What sort of fiction would you wish to write?
@Cadvalto Skinwalker Panther!
Like how we made a Skinwalker Sherman during WWII to act as a test platform.
