My biggest concern is if it will be successful outside the SP community.
While an influx of completely new users could cause problems for the community (people not respecting site rules, formal and informal), it is likely necessary for Jundroo to sustain their operations.
Some users, like LunarEclipseSP, have talked about a lack of YouTube content for SimplePlanes. I don't think this is a problem for the community, which is here regardless, so much as it is for the game; a lack of YouTube prominence would severely limit how many people see this niche product.
@Boeing727200F You know, I hear there's this cutting-edge technology called "eyes".
Graingy rail equipment is a mix of standard stock we bought on the cheap from elsewhere, and custom built by the company for our own use.
Our primary design focus is on the 3m gauge servicing the Nunavut facility, since it's entirely proprietary and can't be replaced so easily. We do, of course, retain some old 2m stock, and we have built the odd 2m line here and there to use it since the Yukon facility fell into disuse, but overall it's pretty uncommon since standardizing on 3m for heavy transport is much preferable overall. 2m tracks are usually short, regional lines. None longer than 50km last I heard, though allegedly a new 60km line is being considered connected to the old Yukon 2m track extending further inland to a minor facility in the BC interior. A pretty big gauge for a rather small factory, but it's better to build too big than too small.
@SupremeDorian Hell yeah!
Another question, will wheels still be able to work magically as an option?
Don't get me wrong, drive shafts are great to have, but it's also useful to be able to just have wheels work without restraints at times.
it just needs to be brought to life on the programming side by Andrew.
THE LORD CREATES!
There are a few properties you can mess around with on the engine:
It seems that time I've spent playing Sprocket may be about to pay off. Goodness, that was unintuitive to learn...
Hoping that there someday might be other engines types, like Radial for example.
@ArovestaDynamics That's a silly thing to ask for. Game development ain't cheap.
That being said, a discount for owners of SP1 would be nice.
Goodness knows I've earned it, I've bought SimplePlanes three times.
Skill comes with time. Keep at it, and don't waste time just slightly modifying what others make unless you're substantially changing and rebuilding it.
Not a great idea to be too obvious, mods wouldn’t like it.
Have to be sneakier.
Would you eat a Shbanit for $100?
@Ashdenpaw1 Graggy. Did you not see the link?
@Mrcooldude ?
@CaptainNoble right, right. Terribly annoying, that.
... Apparently not?
Didn't receive a notification. How odd.
Or... not?

@CaptainNoble Pissed you off again, did I?
I might be stupid
I think the images in the description broke. Discord?
Reminds me of something you'd see on the site, eh, 4 years ago. Maybe it's just the screenshot. Looks cool.
OH LAWD HE COMIN
+2@Boeing727200F And yet you somehow didn't notice the operating machinery, which is never quiet.

@Boeing727200F I swear to all we're going to have to start burying landmines around the tracks

+2@Boeing727200F It happened again.

Reminds me of an early Cold War bomber.
@dekanii Can't see why I would.

@Croozier Compensate. Focus less on the how, and more on the what.
+1Splatoon in SimplePlanes 2 when?
My lawyer advised me to never say that in court.

@asteroidbook345 Probably.
Hey, I've seen this one!
@Mrcooldude Die.
@FomahaultCoredemshau wha
@asteroidbook345 Peculiar. I could've sworn there was a way to make guided bombs with them? Or maybe it was just turning thrust to zero...?
@Monarchii The mechanism is hungry give it your fingers
