I am not trying to cause an argument. Just stating my opinion on the subject. iOS sucks, good iOS builders rock. Although, iOS doesn't suck as much now that they have a built-in fine tuner.
Most of the guys who argue about this are missing the point by a mile. iOS sucks. That means user needs a lot more skill to make a good thing on iOS. That's why I admired Cedy117 back when he was on iOS. Nobody said iOS users suck. Just the things those users can't influence. Saying "iOS sucks" is like saying "I know how it feels" to an iOS user.
Welcome to the community, @Nautigue. Here's my copy-paste set of tips for beginners:
Read the rules here. You will gain points (the number in the white square next to your username). One "Upvote" on a plane you upload brings 15 points, and an upvote on the forum post brings 2 points. Once you reach 100 points, your point field (currently white) will turn bronze, at 1000 points silver, at 5000 gold, and black (we call it platinum) at 25000 points. To tag a person in the comment, put "@" in front of their username (ex: @Nautigue), or hit the "Reply" button on their comment. This will send notification to the person you mentioned.
Don't spam low quality planes. If it doesn't fly (or do whatever it's supposed to do), don't upload it. Put effort into every build. There are many tricks ingame tutorial won't show you. You can learn them by taking apart planes already uploaded to the site. If you don't understand how something works, feel free to ask. You are also not restricted to planes. People have made ships, tanks, cars, trucks, trains, dragons, spaceships...
Be sure to respect other users. Swearing, insulting other users, discriminating, or posting sexually suggestive material can get you banned. Users with red point boxes are moderators. If you have a problem with anyone, talk to them. If you have a problem with building, talk to one of the users whose builds you like. The more experienced they are, bigger the chance they can help you. If you have a problem with the game itself, seek users with blue point boxes. They are developers of the game, and they will take note of the problem you are having and probably fix it in the next update.
I wish you a happy stay in the SimplePlanes community, and a lot of points.
This plane looks very nice and flies very well. I like it. A lot of details and low part count rarely go together so well. It could maybe use some more destructive armament, like a rocket or two, or a few bombs, but it's still a lot of fun to fly.
With launch force 1000%, flares are ejected faster than gun bullets. Given the usual weight of a flare, plus 2000°C+ temperature, they ought to inflict considerable damage, @Awsomur
@Tazziedevil04 soon. 1.7 update is in a beta stage. Beta is not available for iOS, as Apple makes a big deal out of them. iOS will get the full release when most of the bugs are fixed.
I used to ride Android pirate until I reached platinum. Since I don't have a bank account, it was nearly impossible to buy SP. Eventually, it happened that a friend who has an account owed me 20$. I bought SP through his account. Same happened when I was buying PC version. Many pirates are not pirating by choice, but because they have no other way of buying the game. Since the living standard in Philippines is a bit lower than in Serbia, I understand Alienbeef0421.
@GINGER01 that's AI bomber crashing into the ground. They fly like bricks. I once had a rain of those. I was driving the cliff road next to that race track on Maywar, and at least six of them struck a cliff near me in the five minutes of the drive.
Nice presentation. It might be worth mentioning that not only AG1 is now an input. You can use any activation group in that manner. Also, input can be negative. For example, -LandingGear will make the beacon glow when the gear is extended, or -Activate3 will make a an engine work only when AG3 is off.
There's a bug on this plane that came with the update. When I try to roll, it rolls to around 30° and stops. When I press roll again, it rolls another 30°. It's very annoying. Kills all the fun one can have with this plane. Can it be fixed? The plane flew perfectly before the update.

@AttestedArk well, it's not too much of a damage, as I bought a laptop around that time, but it's not a joke either. Forcing that phone over its limits damaged the battery, inner antenna, and destroyed two cores of the quad-core processor. I was running SP at 3fps, and the phone was so hot I couldn't hold it for more than a few minutes at the time. By the time I switched to my laptop, that phone could barely run relatively simple builds, battery lasted for barely half an hour when I'm not even using it, and it couldn't make calls.
@AttestedArk iOS users now have most of the option us PC users have. It will help them a lot. They can now make details as fine as those made on PC. I'm expecting improved average build quality now that iOS users can make detailed builds without help from a PC or Android user. Of course, there's still experience iOS users need to gain in using new tools to reach their full potential.
SPesus is how we call one of the moderators on SP Masters, which is the only reason I clicked this post.
1. I don't have that bug, so I can't help you there;
2. They are between large islands. You can use them for direction;
3. Trim bar appears if you have a something set to trim input. Not a control surface that has trim enabled. Either add a hidden useless rotator set to trim or use keyboard input;
4. AppData/LocalLow/Jundroo/SimplePlanes/Mods. To get to AppData, go to ThisPC/My Computer, enable viewing hidden items, go to Disc C, Users, select the one you are using. You will find AppData there.
There's a better way than activation group. Attach the missile to the big side of the detached, attack detached to the plane by the small end, and attach the custom missile body to the rear flat side of the detached.

That's called depression. You socialise less, grow distant from your friends, and get an impression they don't like you. I've been there.
Congratulations :). I wish you a fast trip to platinum.
@ThePrototype congratulations.
@Blue0Bull of course. It's meant for to inform new users about the community, and everyone is welcome to spread it.
Well, you are your own boss, according to your username. You decide :)

@Marine no problem. Keep up the good work.

Lol, cute :)

Nice catch. I hope they don't fix it.
It can't be used by non-beta users because these parts are not the same as in 1.6. They have a new damage system and new xml attributes.
@Redstreak45 thanks. I'm glad you like it.
+1@Lightsaber70 thanks

@Tazziedevil04 no. An built-in tool similar in function to FineTuner, and ability to type in the size of fuselage blocks, like in xml.
@Tazziedevil04 soon, you will be able to nudge and edit parts accurately. Then you won't need help.

@Tazziedevil04 I'm glad to hear that
@niggelas100 no problem. I like ultralights.
@Tazziedevil04 oh, right. I forgot you switched account. How's it going?
@Tazziedevil04 so long, I forgot where where I know you from. Please remind me.
@GINGER01 that's AI bomber crashing into the ground. They fly like bricks. I once had a rain of those. I was driving the cliff road next to that race track on Maywar, and at least six of them struck a cliff near me in the five minutes of the drive.
Nice. It turns a bit right in the extended shape, but walks perfectly as a cube.
@TheLatentImage thanks man
Congrats
@A3 thank you buddy

It looks nice. Turret and superstructure are kinda simple, but also kinda cute.

@AttestedArk I'm glad you are enjoying it. It's one of the last builds I made on my phone. Builds like that destroyed it.
@AttestedArk I can't wait to see that. Feel free to tag me on your planes after the update, so I don't miss them. My jet stream is quite a mess.
It has been tried by a few users. As far as I know, all attempts to get those missiles failed.
+1@AttestedArk iOS users now have most of the option us PC users have. It will help them a lot. They can now make details as fine as those made on PC. @Awsomur thanks.
@AttestedArk just give credit if you upload anything with it please. I'm quite proud of it. You can find it on my latest upload.
@Awsomur I already made one
@Sgtk no problem
@TrainDude hey, no fading into me! Stop it! [ :) ]

+1@jlewisifer great. Participating on this challenge was fun.
@FlyingThings thinking that German is a race is what caused all the trouble in the late 30's and early 40's. (joking, no offense meant)
@CommanderSword no problem. I don't like to leave comments unanswered.
@samg32332 not anytime soon. I have tons of planned projects, and boats with trailers just aren't my thing.
