the problem about Wheeled vehicles Pivot Turning is that they tend to eat through the tires really fast unlike metal tracks, that's why the most Wheeled APC/IFV/AFVs don't have pivot turning, they want their tires to last as long as possible
@F8boa real, it also doesn't have enough players, but I'm willing to bet once it gets its 1.0 release, it would garner the attention it lacked today, DCS and War Thunder players alike would really enjoy the game, I know because I play both games, Nuclear Option is sorta my comfort flight sim from time to time
@MonsNotTheMonster It's not about the number of wheels in the front, it's about how the front gear is built, If you see how F-16s land IRL you'll notice how they always butter runway and keep the nose up for at least 30 seconds before it touches the runway, you never really see a Viper land like an F-18
@XM803ENJOYER46 you're right about the velocity having the same Kinetic energy, while a lightweight shell does maintain speed for longer, the tradeoff is that when it impacts, it probably wouldn't have enough weight to punch through, it would probably just shatter or ricochet, you could use the argument that the older M1 models did use a 105, and in some case you might be right that a 105 can still be applicable to today's Armor on Armor engagements, but given the advancements on Composite protection and add-on protection, you would for sure, need more than just 1 105 shell to completely knock out a modern MBT, In Armor school, You are instructed that if you are seen, don't be acquired, if you are acquired, don't be hit, and if you are hit, don't die. With that said, if you have to take more than 1 shot to at least disable a modern MBT, you would immediately be acquired and destroyed if you don't act fast enough and reposition, It takes only a second for a well trained crew on an abrams to spot something in the thermals and immediately acquire the source. Maybe this Chinese 105 has a great material for it's ammo? I don't know, But my point is, Kinetic Energy is one thing to a successful Kinetic Penetrator Round, but Weight and Material plays the largest role to a successful penetration, If you don't have enough momentum to punch through a thick steel of armor with added ERAs or NERAs, the survivability onion is what could save you, which means that things have gone bad if you had resort to it.
@XM803ENJOYER46 Kinetic energy doesn't necessarily mean penetration, but i guess it's the same case with the HSTV-L, you shoot it enough it breaks eventually, but it's not really good with Munition since you'd burn your supply for one target.
105mm for today's Generation of MBT is a bit sketchy, but i can see why they'd use it, 2 man crew, autoloaded gun, Probably maximizing the amount of munitions to carry? idk, but nonetheless, great build!
I've once seen the Lancer-R model of the MiG-21, surprisingly, even in the dawn of 5th gen fighters, the MiG-21 could still be a formidable opponent, then again we can say that to many of other 3rd gen fighters anyway.
irl this would be very hard to kill frontally, assuming the engine is at the front, would be best used in defending positions, I like the design of this, I can see it actually being adopted by several countries in the same price range as early Light Tanks
@YarisHatchback I don't remember and maybe that's for the best, lol, i hope you're doing very well these days and in good health, whatever it is i've said back then, I truly apologize, i swear I'm a better man, take care!
@Bobr122 It does, but i tend to use the AGS more for anti infantry
+1the CROWS-J is OP if used properly in Broken Arrow
+1"So wake up. Mister Freeman.. Wake up and... smell the ashes"
+1Hijong Park was the best Helicopter modder in Ravenfield, sad to see him go
+2considering how heavy those Jumo engines we're this would be an exceptional stall machine whenever you pull up
driven my Uncle's 67 stang once, you will never be bored with it and you'll step out with buffier calfs

This is if Russia was to build something Similar to the F-117
Will there be a Mission Editor?
+4@F8boa real, it also doesn't have enough players, but I'm willing to bet once it gets its 1.0 release, it would garner the attention it lacked today, DCS and War Thunder players alike would really enjoy the game, I know because I play both games, Nuclear Option is sorta my comfort flight sim from time to time
+1T/A-30? maybe the Ifrit?
NUCLEAR OPTION MENTIONED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (This and the Medusa are one of the most OP aircraft in the game)
+1@Bobr122 I should've known better
+1@RAGEBAITER101 make it look good how? for what it's worth it's already a good looking model
+11003 parts for this much detail?? You're a talented builder! very nice work!
+1man they're really stepping up
@MonsNotTheMonster makes sense, I'm still perplexed as to how you made it look beautiful
+1@MonsNotTheMonster It's not about the number of wheels in the front, it's about how the front gear is built, If you see how F-16s land IRL you'll notice how they always butter runway and keep the nose up for at least 30 seconds before it touches the runway, you never really see a Viper land like an F-18
The F-16 front landing gear will totally snap off on a few landings in a carrier.
absolutely fucking humongous
OG is back
+1@CHRT2025 That's actually very interesting, Thanks for the info!
+3@XM803ENJOYER46 I enjoyed it bro, you we're amazing! take care!
@CHRT2025 "Should Have"
+1@XM803ENJOYER46 I understand bro and to an extent you are right, so good one on you!
+1@XM803ENJOYER46 I'm no fucking expert by the way I'm just having fun with the mental gymnastics of this, good one on you though, you're real good.

@XM803ENJOYER46 That depends on the weight and material, not entirely just the Velocity.
Not to mention your counterargument has an "If" in it.
+126,638 Performance Cost, My guy what kinda PC do you have??
@XM803ENJOYER46 Kinetic energy doesn't necessarily mean penetration, but i guess it's the same case with the HSTV-L, you shoot it enough it breaks eventually, but it's not really good with Munition since you'd burn your supply for one target.

@su35ACE gotta agree, you made a great job modeling the aircraft ingame, nice work!
+1in a parallel universe, this is the legend instead of the A-10
+1I've once seen the Lancer-R model of the MiG-21, surprisingly, even in the dawn of 5th gen fighters, the MiG-21 could still be a formidable opponent, then again we can say that to many of other 3rd gen fighters anyway.
Very nice build!
You're the best Military Vehicle Replica builder in this website, keep up the great work!
+1ever considered revisiting this and giving it a functioning ramp and cockpit?
so basically Israeli Sabrah Light Tank meets HSTV-L, not bad
FV510 it looks like
+1@lastcentury not everyone has a 3k dollar PC
absolutely breathtaking!
+1a Pantsir Turret would be fitting
now there should be an ATGM carrier version, or SHORAD version, similar either to Italy's SIDAM-25s or Israeli Machbets
irl this would be very hard to kill frontally, assuming the engine is at the front, would be best used in defending positions, I like the design of this, I can see it actually being adopted by several countries in the same price range as early Light Tanks
+1are we soon going to get Missile Lofting? and not just basic Missile tracking like we have in SP1?
Let's hope you don't fight in this thing at Venice
so basically you modernized a WW2 aircraft? not bad.
@YarisHatchback Will do!
+1@PlaneFlightX That works too! very nice job! they're surprisingly optimized too!
do the steering wheels behave like In-Game yokes? can I hold onto them in VR? or are they purely static display?
@YarisHatchback I don't remember and maybe that's for the best, lol, i hope you're doing very well these days and in good health, whatever it is i've said back then, I truly apologize, i swear I'm a better man, take care!
