KA-58 Black Ghost

The Ka-58 "Black Ghost" is Russia's next-generation stealth attack helicopter, currently existing only on paper with no actual production. Its most distinctive features are its highly sci-fi appearance and retractable weapon bays—by default, its armaments are stored in the weapon bays on both sides of the fuselage. In addition to the 30mm cannon under the nose, its engines are also concealed within the fuselage to reduce the overall infrared signature, making the Ka-58 difficult to lock onto via radar in this state. When an attack is needed, the fuselage-mounted pods rotate to a specific angle to expose the weapons, while the engine cowlings flip open to draw in more air. In "attack mode," the Ka-58's firepower is significantly enhanced but at the cost of losing its stealth capability. Therefore, if locked onto by a missile, the Ka-58 must quickly retract its weapon bays and make a rapid escape.

How to Take Off

First, you need to activate AG2 to power on the cockpit's electronic instrument panel—this serves as the helicopter's main power supply. Next, activate AG3, which is the engine start button. Once the engine has finished warming up, push the throttle to lift the helicopter off the ground. Then use Roll/Pitch to control the helicopter's attitude and Yaw to control its rotation.
