I have yet to locate the pot of gold outside of the mention of gold in paragraph 9 (beginning with "A quarter of a century ago"). I would like to locate the leperchaun and find out 1. why it is spelled that way and 2. if he grants me a wish or something.

Formation lights do not illuminate, they spawn a slightly larger high alpha(glowing/lighting up) block just slightly larger than itself when activated. By messing with the XML scale and nudging these formation lights just behind another block, it becomes hidden behind the other block, but when activated its scale change is big enough to clip the lighted part in front of the host block, thereby allowing this effect.
I’ve been experimenting with multiple programmed flash patterns and multi-color elements for a good two months now, and have some things cooking, stay tuned…

Misinformation like that is just for content farming usually. Content farming = engagement = money. Money is the enemy of morality.
We'll just wait for the preliminary and final reports to come out so we can potentially learn what happened.
