It's unlikely they can be recovered, but if you send me the .xml file and the .bak file for your craft I can take a look to see if there's anything I can do. Send them to me at games@jundroo.com.
Check and see if there is also a file with the same name that ends in .bak. If there is, then make a copy of that file and rename it to Recovered.xml. Then open SimplePlanes and try to load Recovered.
We do care. When we are planning an update we do look at the suggestions to find those that are highly upvoted and that we could accomplish in a reasonable amount of time. We will also look at those suggestions if/when we decide to start working on SimplePlanes 2. As other players have pointed out we are currently focused on SR2 since we have promises laid out in the Early Access plan that we need to finish before we can fully release it on Steam. That, combined with COVID, we've been very short on dev time for SimplePlanes. I'm sorry you feel that way, but we are doing the best we can.
@xXMrCoolDudeXx Please email us and we will do what we can to help. Going back and forth on a comment thread is not the best way to provide tech support.
@xXMrCoolDudeXx What kind of Kindle do you have? What version of SimplePlanes do you currently have that works? Did you purchase SP through Amazon or somewhere else or did you get it for free through Amazon Underground from a long time ago?
I hope our April Fool's joke gave you a good chuckle. With all the crazy stuff going on in the world today, we thought you could use a good joke today. Stay safe and healthy, everyone. Love you all.
@Dllama4 Let's not get too worked up about this. I mean, it's true we do want more money from you and we're not really adding anything of value, but once you look past that and realize that we have our own demands that we need to take care of. For example, I'm really hoping to put in a new, underground pool this summer but I just don't have enough money and the old pool is getting nasty and has some mildew problems, I mean, of course, we're going to ask our players to pay for that. Well, not that, I mean players should pay for the new awesome service we are adding.
@xXMrCoolDudeXx That tone is not going to be tolerated around here. However, if you have lots of cash available to spend, I can make sure your comments won't be removed....
@Love0police You're taking an issue with small details. The important thing is that money is coming out of your bank account and into ours and at the end of the day, that's all that really matters.
@asteroidbook345 Yes, when you put the numbers down it sounds bad, but the important thing to remember is that the money is going into our pockets. And we like the sound of that.
No, please don't say that. We do care about your feedback, but we also care about your money. Mostly the money. Be sure to keep your credit card nearby while playing SimplePlanes.
Thank you, everyone, for your support. The number of pre-orders we have already received really warms our wallets. I mean hearts. It makes me proud to have all of your cash. Support. I meant support.
@CookieCrumz That is correct, we are switching to a monthly subscription model. Please read the FAQ for more information. Thanks for paying! I mean, playing!

+4You can check here for the XML file:
android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/files/AircraftDesigns
Check and see if there is also a file with the same name that ends in
+3.bak
. If there is, then make a copy of that file and rename it to Recovered.xml. Then open SimplePlanes and try to load Recovered. One of the main reasons we explode a part is to hide its disappearance. It's a magic trick, but I can certainly see how it would be annoying.
+32@Diloph Please contact us at games@jundroo.com and I'll try to help.

+61@ThatsAHotTopic Try copying the URL of the airplane and then pressing CTRL+L in the SimplePlanes designer to load it manually.
@jamesPLANESii We are on < day 30 of lockdown here in the US and people are getting pretty antsy already...
+5@Plane66373637 It should play in your web browser. Does it not work for you with Safari? That's what I have been testing with on my iOS device.
Can you email us your log file after a crash? Send it to games@jundroo.com. You can find your log file here:
%userprofile%\appdata\locallow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\output_log.txt
I'm surprised I hadn't noticed that. Thanks, I'll put it on the list.
+20Thanks for the teeth! It makes flossing a breeze.
+168I just want to make sure everyone has Aero Effect. Does everyone have Aero Effect on their mobile device yet?
+9@GenrichTitov We have not forgotten about SimpleWheels and have been secretly working on it in all spare moments of the day.
+4Can you take a screenshot of it and send it to us at games@jundroo.com
@Orbit The SimplePlanes Subscriptions including paid mods was an April Fool's joke.
@AviownCorp Unfortunately, mod support has been removed from the Android version for technical reasons. More info here.
@Mustang51 @ACEPILOT109 It would go on newest as if it had just been created even though it was uploaded as unlisted an hour ago.
+1@xXMrCoolDudeXx Okay, glad to hear you got it working.
@jamesPLANESii No, it will still limit you to 3 public airplane posts per day.
@xXMrCoolDudeXx games@jundroo.com
+1@DanDaFreakinMan The 3-uploads per day limit is still enforced when publishing this way.
@Roswell Thanks for letting me know. That should be fixed now.
@Hawkeye156 No plans for switching back and forth between published and unlisted.
@ssenmodnar We don't support going the other way so you can't go from published back to unlisted.
@xXMrCoolDudeXx Yes, send the link to our email.

Every post I make inevitably ends up with requests for tank tracks. Ya'll have a one-track mind!
+13No worries, @xXMrCoolDudeXx :)
+1@TOMJeb117 I’m glad to hear you reached silver. Thanks for being a good sport!
@SuperSix I guess there was a silver lining to this April fools joke after all!
+2I feel compelled to mention that this is not a Coronavirus, it is just a simple digital virus. Also, I made this post over 5 years ago.
@sheepsblood March has been a LOOOOONG year, hopefully April brings some good news....
@Roswell Yes, we can an additional 1GB of downloadable RAM for every $0.99/month.
+2@RailfanEthan That was the best video I've ever watched. Thank you for enlightening me.

I have no idea how this works and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.
+47@Dllama4 Also, I really want a new Tesla this summer. I hear they pay for themselves.
+3@Dllama4 Let's not get too worked up about this. +3@RailfanEthan Congrats on 100k! Well deserved!
+1@Hedero I agree, nothing says "I love you" like dolla bills.

+9@asteroidbook345 Yes, when you put the numbers down it sounds bad, but the important thing to remember is that the money is going into our pockets. And we like the sound of that.
+40@edensk It's payday! That's what day it is!
