@GabrielFangster70 We should have this update out next week or the week after. SPVR is coming before the end of the year or I'm chowing some black licorice.
@vonhubert Glad to see you got it working. I didn't have time to fully read your comment, but here's an example of how to use Nicky's new stuff (XML here).
@Deadeye4827089057 Did you opt in to the beta? If not, instructions are in my pinned comment at the top. If you did opt in, what device are you using and what country are you in?
@Baldovino This is the expected behavior because we want SimplePlanes to use simple colliders during flight for performance. You can improve the quality of that fuselage collider by using the new collider attribute and setting it to ConvexMesh using Overload or just straight XML modding. Example here.
@WIZARD2017 This would be possible with the new part modifier variable output, but it is currently only supported by the heli main rotor part and there's no UI for it so you would need to XML mod. Here is how it can be used.
@Skykid028 If you can't find the log file then just go ahead and submit the bug report without it. If we really need it then we'll contact you directly and help you figure out how to get us the log file.
Do you mind if I use some of these images in promotional stuff, like blog posts, etc? I'll be sure to credit you if we do. Also, I'm assuming you are using Reshade, but anything else?
I'm sorry about the visual changes due to the switch to linear color space. Unfortunately, we didn't have a choice. We will try to fix what we can, but things will look a little different after this update.
If you find a bug, please submit a bug report here. The most helpful thing you can do is to describe how we can recreate the problem. The more likely we can reproduce the problem at the office, the more likely we can fix it.
SimplePlanes VR is coming to Steam and Oculus Quest this year. If you want to know when it’s released, you can wishlist SPVR on Steam here.
This part, as well as the labels, gauges and the fuselage cutting, will be included in the v1.11 update which we are hoping will enter beta testing this month.
@BeastHunter yes, we are making a special version just for Oculus Quest devices so you can play it without a PC. That version will be available on the Oculus Quest store through their App Lab program. We'll post more about that later.
@BeastHunter I'm not sure what's in the starter kit, but a carrying case is nice to have. Also, a long USB-A to USB-C cable is great so you can connect the Quest to your PC and play PC VR games. Something like this.

@Default4 Can you send us your log file? You should be able to find it here (or something similar):
\Android\data\com.jundroo.SimplePlanes\files\Player.log.txt
Can you confirm that you have version 1.11.104?
@Dllama4 Nice! I've been wanting to buy that Sigma 150-600mm lens for a while now! Maybe I will now that I've seen what it can do...
@SajabAerospace Thanks for the feedback.

Whoa, nice! But, also I'm not sure how I feel about this...
+66Great photos! What camera and lens(es) are you shooting with?
+3@vonhubert You should check out the variable system that Nicky has added.

Thanks for letting us know. Any idea why we are being targeted?
@monke123456765456765 hi!
+3@Zue5s Unfortunately not. The upgrade has not fixed the issues that prevent us from allowing mods on Android.
+1@Augusta81 Just to clarify, you have already opted into the beta here and you cannot access the beta here, correct? If so, what country are you in?
@HelloHelloTheUnt Can you elaborate on how it is broken? Also, what is your device model?
@Allahuakhbar @Augusta81 What is your device manufacturer and model?
What version of SimplePlanes do you have? What is your exact device model?
@KnightOfRen Thanks for letting us know. So you were able to get the beta?
@KnightOfRen @PapaKernels I believe the Google Play beta should be available to you now. If it is not, then let me know.

+1Right-click SimplePlanes in your Steam Library -> Properties -> BETAS -> select Public Test from the dropdown.
+1@One2 Mobile resolutions are so high that they really don't have much of an aliasing problem, but I suppose we could look into it if we have time.
+1@V lol, thank you for the honesty. Now I can see why you were so excited to start a tournament!
@V sorry, no plans for a tournament in the near future.
@KnightOfRen What device do you have?
@JuanNotAnAlt if things go well, we might release this update as early as next week.
+3@WIZARD2017 yep, that's the plan.

@zerozeke88 Unfortunately, not. Google Play is the only Android beta we will run.
@Type2volkswagen Thank you for following up with the solution!

+8@Hectord27 Give it another shot. It should work now. Sorry about that.

+19Also, I got your bug report about the gauge needle emission. You can adjust material emission via the paint panel.
+1You can enable italics using the <i> tag. The labels use TextMeshPro rich text. You can read more about what formatting options it supports here.

You can reset your password here.
+13@BombBoi1822 not sure on the exact release date for v1.11 but we are planning to enter beta this month.
Good idea, I added a Help tag for the forums.
