We are working on the v1.11 update that will be released around the same time as SimplePlanes VR. One of the main goals of this update is to make it easier to build cockpits with fewer parts. Arguably one of the most important parts is the gauge.
William has been working to make this new gauge part as customizable as possible. There are presets available for the most common types of gauges, but you can also switch to Custom and change the face texture, needle, trim, rotation type, and scale to your liking. Since some gauges are a little trickier, you can also customize the zero point of the indicator, rotate the face texture, scale the input, and enable emission. And of course, there are even trickier gauges (like those with multiple needles) so you can stack a gauge part on top of another gauge part and selectively show or hide certain aspects of it, such as the base, face texture, indicator, or trim. And last, but not least the gauge can take a Funky Trees expression as an input.
