@Ian_Yashima I mean you’ve pushed sp to the max, the animations are as realistic as they can ever be without motion capture, just what you could do with more features would be mind-blowing
SP isn't really capable of capturing really complex things like this, I guarantee if it was this would be 100% realistic. As it is, this is maxing out the capability of SimplePlanes.
@satgat I used to use it on an absolute potato. The better your integrated graphics the better it will work, but if you’re ok with dropping down to like 3 fps you can run it on pretty much anything.
@BigHeadEngineering depends on how you set them up, the CDOF one uses mouse-driven autofocus so it can look a little wonky but generally yes you can certainly play the game with shaders.
@Boeing727200F the current map area we have access to is abysmal lol. The runways and racetrack don't even connect to the road which means its a pain in the rear to just get in a car and drive around
@Graingy we'll see. It doesn't take a genius to go in and edit the xml files so all I'm doing is saving a few minutes for the random users (by spending a few hours myself lol). I'm not exactly hacking the game or anything.
Ok so I don’t think you’re stupid but one thing that I would probably do would be accidentally create a new Steam account? It would still show all your games as installed on the device, but will it let you play them? It may have messed up during the name change process and somehow glitched you into making a new account.
@StockPlanesRemastered I just tested limiting my network speed and it didn’t seem to make a difference on an 11 player server so I’m not sure if there really is a correlation then
@StockPlanesRemastered I think this is interesting, I’m a bit hesitant to pin as framerate issues are almost never dependent on network speed. Did you try the game at a different time when no one else was doing anything on your network? I’m not trying to claim you’re wrong or anything but it would be interesting if this was legitimately the issue here so I’m going to try and collect some more data.
Also, could you go into task manager and let me know exactly what CPU you have? So far you seem to have claimed to own a Ryzen i5, which is not a thing and would almost certainly have more numbers/letters as well. Bit like saying you have a Chevy F-150 without even naming a model year or anything.
Has it worked in the past?
You could try deleting the SP2 folder in C:/users/<username>Appdata/LocalLow/Jundroo. It’s a hidden folder so you might have to use Win + R to get there. This deletes the crafts that you have loaded into the game already.
@SimplyElegant you can use a tool like speccy to check, or just use task manager. I appreciate you providing input on how it runs but I’m trying to find a metric on how it runs on different types of hardware and the more datapoints I have the better.
@CatdogAerospace interesting, do you think you could find your specs? Something like speccy is probably easiest but task manager works if you don’t want to download something.
Again, please include your computers model number or a link to the Amazon page, or at least its specs. I am trying to get a general idea of performance on different hardware so I need to collect data.
If you don’t know your specs but want to include them you can use speccy. Please be specific, saying something like “Intel i5” or “Nvidia GPU” could mean dozens or even hundreds of different things without all the little numbers and things. For instance, an i9 14900K and an i9 7900X are two completely different products, one of which performs significantly worse.
@SupremeDorian game runs comfortably on medium settings in singleplayer on the Steam Deck. Once you join multiplayer it can dip into the low 20s even with people using relatively light crafts.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII thanks!
+1@LotusCarsSub ik just thought you might find it cool
+1@11qazxc True, I have been trying to think of a good way to reword it.
+1If you ever decide to repost this for whatever reason, (maybe changing steering to roll instead of yaw) here is a custom thumbnail for you

+1Any recommendations for things I should check out?
+1@Ian_Yashima ok, I’m excited to see what they can make!

+1How is the thumbnail different from the picture?
+1Maybe paid dlc like maps or something
I would probably pay for a top-tier mod map on mobile
+1Reminds me of this
+1@MrSilverWolf you too. You’ve been doing everything a mod should do in regards to that post.
+1@MrSilverWolf ok suuupppeeerr sorry
Also super sorry I had a majorly long comment conversation with you.
Take your time, I was planning to keep making them for free for a long time anyway
+1@Brandon182003 no problem 😉
+1There’s also guides for how to make better thumbnails
I believe this is the plane you use while murdering millions of innocent civilians
+1https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/1ReEO2/USS-beast-Controller This is not mine but you could maybe use it in a video
+1The weird block thing is actually a target, in case anyone was wondering.

magine having a life
I feel sometimes it’s the opposite.
20,000 downloads but only like 100 upvotes
@CatdogAerospace try OBS, might be a little lighter especially if you drop settings a lil bit
@Wiz the graphics can probably be dialed back enough to make it work tbh, just do what they did on SP1 and make it a flat blue plane lol
@Graingy Well I’m under 18 so there are some labor laws we have to follow but otherwise I am quite ready for hulk-watching duty
@Graingy erm actually I am a Red Cross certified lifeguard 🤓
Not even joking.
@V It’s spacepickle9772, I haven’t used that app since covid lol
@SupremeDorian dangit
Well, it got removed lol
@V this could maybe be useful for SimpleCheats III purposes if haven’t already made something similar

@StockPlanesRemastered which i5 do you have? There are a lot of them and they all perform quite differently.
@CatdogAerospace interesting, do you think you could find your specs? Something like speccy is probably easiest but task manager works if you don’t want to download something.
@LunarEclipseSP what are your specs? If you don’t know the full specs I would also take a model number or an Amazon link or something similar.
Again, please include your computers model number or a link to the Amazon page, or at least its specs. I am trying to get a general idea of performance on different hardware so I need to collect data.

@PlaneFlightX what are your specs?
@StockPlanesRemastered there’s no such thing as an i4 lol, neither intel or amd have made one
