3D Artificial Horizon

"In his research, he modeled the very planes of existence."

This Three-Dimensional Artificial Horizon uses engine exhaust to create a model of the ground below. Throttle up to turn it on! The lines line up with the North, South, East, West directions.

This is only an entry level model, I will most likely implement it into a cockpit HUD.

    @AaltonenIndustries They are scaled to be very thin in two dimensions, while it is normal length in one direction. I do not remember how, exactly, i scaled it. I recommend that you use the overload mod to look at the setttings that I used to mod the engines.

    @spefyjerbf
    keep its orientation if it was scaled weirdly.
    yes, it does seem that the exhaustscale affects global scale... it's a weird bug that I have pointed out before. Looks like you put it to good use!

    @destroyerP @SimpleEric Thanks! I have also implemented it into a cockpit, which can be found on the successors list.

    @JustPancake Your design is also quite compact, which is a problem with my design.

    @JetFly The engines have been XML modded to provide almost no thrust.

    @JustPancake Yours is quite nice! I have not seen it before. I like how it uses a more 2d version of representing the horizon. My only critique is that the exhaust is difficult to see for some reason. My suggestion for fixing that would be taking a bunch of identical engines and nudging them into the single engine that you are using.

    @Baldeagle086 The idea came to me when I looked at the oddly scaled exhaust of the engines of this battleship. I realized that the exhaust would keep its orientation if it was scaled weirdly.
