I dont know to much about this jet so ask the internet :/

---

The reason i wanted to build this is because in my history class my teacher got all technical about his airplane knowledge and i asked him to name a plane I didn't know... this was one i never knew about, so i read up on it and saw it was worth building. I honestly love this jet for its raised pitch surfaces on the vertical stabilizer, looks like one of those ricer mobiles with the huge spoilers XD. Not really but i do like it! Enjoy!
"Later on i might comeback to this and add more detail but for now i need to finish some build requests"

The Voodoo and aircraft like it are part of what's known as the "Century Series." During the 1950's, jet engines became powerful enough to push aircraft past mach 2, and Cold War designers sacrificed many other considerations for almighty speed. Most aircraft of the time were very difficult to pilot and many were lost in accidents, mostly due to high landing speeds but also because of how little we knew about supersonic flight. For instance, that T-tail could cause the F-101 to catch an issue called "Pitch-Up" where the pilot completely loses pitch control and the aircraft pitches so hard it stalls out the engines and sometimes tears itself apart. It was a whole new frontier and not without risks. All in all, the Voodoo was good at what it did, if you like it check out the F-104 and F-105, the other two successful Century jets.

does the paint give the plane a 50% chance of a weakness on the intakes? i dunno, what do you think @MrMecha
