T-34-76, 1942 Model

Soviet Medium Tank

This is my FIRST replica build, and I went as far as I could with this, trying my best to not only replicate the exterior, but replicate the interior and even re-create the gunsight for the 76mm gun! I get that some things are still a little sloppy, but I still hope you enjoy it!

General Description

The T-34 was a revolutionary tank developed during WWII, and easily recognizable due to its armored hull having a sloped nature, making the tank look somewhat pyramid shaped. These tanks were widely produced through the USSR from 1940 to 1946, and still see service today with such countries as Yemen, Cuba, and Vietnam. This model utilized an M1940 F34 76.2mm cannon, along with a coaxial 7.62x54mm DT machine gun, and a second in the hull for the bow gunner.

Activation Groups

AG-1: Activate the turret and F34 cannon
AG-2: Activate the bow DT machine gun
AG-3: Open the driver's hatch
AG-4 through AG-7: No set controls
AG-8: Open turret hatches

Controls

Pitch: Forward/reverse movement
Roll: Hull turning
Yaw: Turret Traverse
Trim: Main gun and bow gun elevation
VTOL: Bow gun traverse
FireWeapons: Fire main gun
FireGuns: Fire bow machine gun

Man, making replicas is hard work. It took me maybe 6-9 hours of work just to make just the gunsight alone...
