@Visify Yes, its armor soaks up minigun shots, bullets from AA tanks, and bullets from destroyers. It is, however, vulnerable to missiles and bombs, and has a few weak spots that aren't covered with armor.
@CALVIN232 The armor works quite well. It can protect an aircraft (if used correctly) in battles against truck convoys, and it works quite well against the guns on the USS beast escorts.
@Dllama4 Awesome! Please tell me when it is finished! Note that the armor blocks can wreak havoc on a plane's aerodynamics, so it will be challenging. It is possible though... I have finished an armored prototype, and it almost completely negates bullet damage from convoys, and it is quite effective against the guns on the USS Beast destroyer escorts.
@JustPancake Yours is quite nice! I have not seen it before. I like how it uses a more 2d version of representing the horizon. My only critique is that the exhaust is difficult to see for some reason. My suggestion for fixing that would be taking a bunch of identical engines and nudging them into the single engine that you are using.
@MAHADI Woah, that's some dedication on your part! You made it all the way to my earliest stuff! Thanks for all of the comments/votes, it means a lot to me when someone takes an interest in what I do in this game.
@Baldeagle086 The idea came to me when I looked at the oddly scaled exhaust of the engines of this battleship. I realized that the exhaust would keep its orientation if it was scaled weirdly.
For some reason, for a few months, I would always have nightmares when my dog slept with me. He is a little bed hog, so he was making my quality of sleep fairly bad (I was also stressed at the time). So, the moral of the story is, if there is anything in your bedroom that might disrupt your sleep (ex, something that makes noise, phones, small dogs hogging the bed, etc.), then eliminate it. That is my superstitious approach.
What is probably the case is that you are stressed or something, which is hard to fix. Getting rid of possible sleep-disruptions would be beneficial too, even if it might not fix the nightmares.
@Ihatelava123isacommunist The vortex cannons that I used on the ship are a modified version of this. If you want a more compact and less laggy vortex cannon, then this might interest you.
@zackattack316 AH! I forgot to put that in the desc! Thanks for reminding me!
@zackattack316 Thanks! Also I have posted an aircraft that uses the armor plates. It gives it a rugged, puffy appearance.
@Dllama4 Also if you want to see an example of the armor on a plane, I have just posted this.
@DatGuy117 Thanks! I have also put this concept into motion by making an armored plane.
@CALVIN232 @marcox43 @CRAZYONE1423 I have posted a plane with this armor. You can find it here. Thanks!
@Visify Yes, its armor soaks up minigun shots, bullets from AA tanks, and bullets from destroyers. It is, however, vulnerable to missiles and bombs, and has a few weak spots that aren't covered with armor.
@Potkuri The engine is actually what got tilted. When the exhaust is scaled wierdly, it orients itself in relation to the world plane.
@Visify Thanks! The desc has been completed.
@CALVIN232 The armor works quite well. It can protect an aircraft (if used correctly) in battles against truck convoys, and it works quite well against the guns on the USS beast escorts.
@CRAZYONE1423 Wing guns do less damage than miniguns, so I didn't see a need to test them.

I absolutely love your building style. I'm gonna follow you...
Very interesting. nice job.
Very nice... also, could we do a collab? I think it would produce (probably) the best sci-fi build on the site.
@saturn28 Thanks! The desc has been finished! If you didn't notice, this is probably the closest thing to a ghost in SP.
@503rdAirborneSoldier Sure! Just mention me in the desc or something.
@bjac0 That sounds good! I'm in.
@EliteIndustries1 Sure! Just try to mention me in the desc.
Yes, all of the messages are the same, remember that three tags is the max on one comment....
@destroyerP @SimpleEric Thanks! I have also implemented it into a cockpit, which can be found on the successors list.
@AudioDud3 @Sarpanitu @MAHADI Thanks! I have also implemented it into a cockpit, which can be found on the successors list.
@BaconAircraft @EliteIndustries1 @Baldeagle086 Thanks! I have also implemented it into a cockpit, which can be found on the successors list.
@Supercraft888 @aircraftarsenal123 @saturn28 Thanks once again! I have implemented it into a cockpit, which can be found on the successors list.
@JustPancake Your design is also quite compact, which is a problem with my design.
@JetFly The engines have been XML modded to provide almost no thrust.
@JustPancake Yours is quite nice! I have not seen it before. I like how it uses a more 2d version of representing the horizon. Awesome. This will be very useful.
@MAHADI Thanks, I am planning to post another architectural concept this summer, and it will blow this one away!
@MAHADI Woah, that's some dedication on your part! You made it all the way to my earliest stuff! Thanks for all of the comments/votes, it means a lot to me when someone takes an interest in what I do in this game.
How do they act as armor? are cockpits bullet resistant? Just curious.
@Baldeagle086 The idea came to me when I looked at the oddly scaled exhaust of the engines of this battleship. I realized that the exhaust would keep its orientation if it was scaled weirdly.
@aircraftarsenal123 @saturn28 @BaconAircraft Thanks! I have already started implementing this into a cockpit, and so far it works very well.
Rip jelly planes, the garbage spam stroked my ego at least.
@rubbishcraft Ah. There seems to be some confusion with links.
For links, use this format.
[Link name] (URL) Remove the space between the bracket and parentheses.
For pictures, use this format:
! [] (URL) remove the space between the exclamation mark and the bracket, and remove the space between the bracket and the parentheses.
@Ephwurd Thanks! I decided that it would have that role, because it would be realistic in the SP world, since there is no such thing as armor...
@zackattack316 Sure! Just try to mention my name in the desc or something.
The title made me laugh. Good build though, might want to change the title to focke*.
@MrMecha Hehe, we'll see.
@Mumpsy Thanks! This build is definitely my largest yet.
@MrMecha Thanks! I think this craft will get me a good amount of recognition.
@EternalDarkness Thanks! I will also think of that for the next large ship that I make.
@FearlessFabEngineering I have uploaded the ship. You can find it here
@Dynimerous Thanks for the upvotes!
@Birdman9301 @EarthSpaceDefence Thanks! The desc has been updated to include very important info!

Wooooooah, this is awesome!
@rubbishcraft Add pictures like you would for links, but have an exclamation mark ! in front of the straight brackets [ ] .

@destroyerP Far from mobile friendly. Even when it only had 100 parts, it wasn't mobile friendly. It will probably be published with about 700 parts.
