Wow! This is fantastic for a first plane! My first plane was a weird thing made out of blocks with way too many engines in weird places and stupidly long wings lol
Dumb fact, SP is very CPU dependant, and SP only runs on 2 cores regardless of how many cores your CPU has, so you basically want the most power-per-core CPU you can find if you want to run SP well. Unfortunately I don't have any reccomendations cause I don't really know much about computers either lol
@ReinMcDeer It's a good idea to make the fuselages for both the length and wingspan, so that you know what each dimension is actually based off. Especially for aircraft with antennas or propellers. Also incase you accidentally read a number wrong lol
Hey man, nobody is pressuring you to build. If you need a break, absolutely take one. :)
There is nothing wrong at all with releasing your builds later.
There's no free programme. If you want to build planes you've gotta buy normal SimplePlanes. If you have a Mac, I highly recommend you get SP on Steam since it has mod support. If you do not want to pay as much for SP, the mobile game is generally a lot cheaper.
SP props suck af
I think the only thing that actually works realistically about them is that they generate thrust.
The sound they make doesn't even match what the engine is doing. I have no idea where the sound is even based off.
Trying to make a realistic working prop is like trying to squeeze water from a stone...
STOL advice:
It's pretty good, but I reccomend asking this much lighter. That's kinda all lol
.
With the landing gear, I'd make the bottom of the cowling square instead of curved to make the struts behind straight, and attach the landing gear to them. Either that or give it landing gear like what the 103 Solo has.
.
The yaw... no. Planes do not fly like boats in water. Irl the rudder just points the nose in a different direction and the palne files sideways, and doesn't make it turn hardly at all.
The player base has been strong, but nothing has happened in ages tbh.
+3from my experience it doesn't work :/
+3Hands off snakey!
+3@FlyingPatriot how is this in any way political
+3Wait was this curated before? Becuae it priobably shouldn't have been because it uses mods and it's performance cost is rather high...
+3Sorry but your thumbnail has to be the actual build, not a photo of the real thing.
+3Hi dead, I'm @Dad!
+3A lot of people who buy SimplePlanes don't make an account on the website

+3Sounds like you need a new gf
+3Lol ok
+3Anyway this is a pretty typical time period between updates for SP. It hasn't even been a year yet...
+3It's kinda incredible that this game has been just as popular for the past 5 years
+3Wow! It knows who wins!
+3For me I have 20, and can add more via XML.
+3You have such a beautiful face
+3Pretty much nothing has happened here in a while.

+3@brentisaac22 Gongrats on having a phone that's powerful enough to (sorta) run this lol
+3When you follow someone, when they upload or spotlight something, the build will appear in there
+3If you hide your following page, you don't get notifications for new followers.
+3No because that would be illegal
+3I wonder if they even know if their palne got 575 upvotes...
