You could just write an empty XML file with proper formatting and if done right should theoretically work.
But do not try to do this it would be long, painstaking, and there is no visualization, as you will only be working with text
But unfortunately there is no real other way to build planes for free.
Fortunately though SP is available on Mac for the regular price, or for about 6 bucks on a phone, which provides most of the same functionality.
There's no free programme. If you want to build planes you've gotta buy normal SimplePlanes. If you have a Mac, I highly recommend you get SP on Steam since it has mod support. If you do not want to pay as much for SP, the mobile game is generally a lot cheaper.
Nope, I'm pretty sure regular SP works on mac though.
