That fact where you say only platinum users could be featured, that is wrong. Any player could be featured, but the mods only used to feature players with less than 5000 points. That was later increased to 25K points. Actually, I don’t even know where you got the fact that only platinum players could be featured...

Also guys stop saying “most people do”. That’s just an assumption you’ve made and might not actually be true. The question is “do you”. I suspect that it is an illusion that you get more upvotes and attention from having more points. I doubt many people actually do this.
I imagine the thing where we’ll established players get way more upvotes than players that are relatively new, even with equally good builds, is because it’s easier for high rank users to be seen, because they have way more followers and are generally more active.

One thing I find is many people highly underestimate just how good SP’s wing physics are. They are actually extremely good, until you get into a stall!
One thing I do is I choose my wing based on how I want my plane to stall, like, I only ever use flat bottom wings on my bush planes since it stalls at a 30 degree AoA, which is way higher than basically any plane other than bush planes. Semi symmetric wings stall at about 20 degrees, and symmetric stall at 15 degrees. I used symmetric on my Airtruk because the wings on the real thing are kinda semi-symmetric, coming on symmetric with an AoA, and shared more characteristics with the symmetric wing than the semi symmetric wing. I made my wings a realistic size and the performance of the plane almost matched exactly with the real thing.
One thing I would say is it would be nice if we could have more choice over the aerofoils we can use. Like, the ability to type in the NACA profile. That would be so cool.
Gee, you really need to make the eyes really far apart, replace the moth and nose positions, turn the eyebrows into antennas, and give it chops and put it on it’s forehead...
