When uploading a plane, there should be an empty space. Tap on it and the on-screen keyboard should come up. You will notice you cant leave any lines.
If you need to update or add lines to the description, you can do so by tapping the white square next to the downloads counter and selecting edit
You can now write descriptions with paragraph breaks (yay.mp3)
Note: if the white square is not there, make sure you are logged in
Tip: For those that write a lot, or just do not want people to click off seeing there is no description, I recommend you write it in a text file or document and copying it over
I have made a very realistic lenny face, unfortunately its hidden on one of my creations. Maybe I should extract and re-upload it...
Also I have that illuminati pixel art (a replica) to the left over there
I don't really like to re-upload stuff though, I feel its cheating
Press New Aircraft when opening a new project, dont use the cockpit from the previous creation.
OR: should get your simpleplanes checked, this is not related to the precedessor. You will have to reinstall if this is a permanent problem
Methods:
- Overload and Fine Tuner (recommended)
- 1. Download, install, and activate both mods.
- 2. There should be 2 new buttons on the bottom of the screen
- 3. While selecting a part, tap on one of the buttons to open a menu
- 4. Add or edit required fields
- Accessing the .xml file:
- 1. Download a file editor app
- 2. Find your SimplePlanes folder
- 3. Under Aircrafts, find your plane or the Editor file
- 4. Edit accordingly
To create a vehicle to tow another vehicle:
- For a pre-attached vehicle:
--- use hinge rotators (or hinge substitutes) on one or both ends
--- connect with detachers and/or fuselage blocks
- To tow an AI vehicle:
--- add aforementioned hinges on one or both vehicles
--- add a grabber or piston lock system that will lock connections upon an input
Wow that pic is nice, the two circles are perfect, and the rectangle is straight and centered In other words, you should see my screen right now, the pic doesnt work
The way mirrored objects connect to the other side is due to partial hard-coding; this causes problems in connection point(s)
- the game uses a preset mesh and 3D model and transfers to the other side, ignoring scale
- attach points must be close enough to another attach point to form a connection
- as the mesh, model and attach points are transferred ignoring the scale, often, the attach points will not connect with the object that should be on the other side
- this may also cause parts connecting to the wrong parts, damaging complex mechanical parts
- this often also results in the 'Failed to mirror' error message
Someone can try scripting special fuselage blocks with a health system
Yes we should be able to make a plane 'read only', maybe we can see planes in the editor but cant take them apart
Check for drag imbalance, it can cause auto-roll
Possible, but only for custom landing gear
Fly a car through it
Now I have a legit use for my ramp :D
Try a mech or a missile launcher

If its detacher-based, youre too late
You can make a missile pod or missile holder, but those parts wont fly with the missile
Would spotlight this one
Strengthen your plane. Check for parts that wobble under drag or lift forces.

Play a different game for a while, you will be flooded with ideas
Vertical stabilisers very close to the CoM are useless, try to put them further to the front/back
@F104Deathtrap yes, they work fine when scaled
