Methods to remove predecessor (do not misuse)
- A (all platforms): remove cockpit, put the rest of the plane in subassemblies, create a new plane and load the subassembly
- B (xml modding): go to aircraft file, under "Aircraft" delete the "url" field
- C: just rebuild it lol
@Tessemi when i use mods i make them non-critical, if i want to use simplewings i basically have to tune the plane 2 times
Plane doesn't need fly-by-wire to do stunts or normal flight, it's just easier to recover if you use mods
All parts have mass, CoM is the resultant (where the mass appears to act when all the mass is added up)
CoM will move if your parts move, like with rotator
@ThomasRoderick radar is supposed to be in the head, though it won't work beyond 10 miles because sp
The feet is just for looks (no physics in game) but should act as some kind of wing/stabilizer

Controls are different for many builds, gator is vtol for collective and throttle for engine power i think
Haven't tried the no drag trick yet (maybe next time), but it works by having the game simulate less objects --> less calculations --> less cpu usage
Think i found an easy way to apply it using notepad replace all, materials= with calculateDrag="false" materials= (remove from airbrake later)
Should work with anything
Nice, as mobile user that has dug a bit in pc 3D viewer, i think mobile is more intuitive though
