Mod Suggestion: calculator

33.0k IzzyIA  5.2 years ago

I have no idea to make mods despite how hard I’ve tried, (Unity won’t work on my laptop oof) but one thing I think would be awesome as a mod would be an in game calculator. Whenever I’m making things that require me to do math to find their exact location (like my gears) , I always have to switch between the SP app and the calculator app. Sometimes while doing this the SP app will restart and I will lose my progress. Anyways, idk if other people would want this but if so, it would be so cool if someone made it

Yeah just the problem is that sometimes when I leave the simpleplanes app to go to the calculator app, it crashes the simpleplanes app @AstleyIndustries

@AstleyIndustries Yes it does but why not just open the calculator on windows, just click back to the game when you need to, you can copy and paste etc.

And if that's not what you're looking for you can just use google's calculator in the steam overlay.

Yes, to find the x pos, it is:

    cos(θ) * D / 4

    And y pos:

    sin(θ) * D / 4

Where θ is the degree of the angle to the point on the circle, D is the diameter of the circle, * is the multiplication symbol, and / is the division symbol

Yes I do, that is why I am struggling with this actually. Creating circles needs a lot of calculating lol. I use it mainly for making my gears. @Spacedoge12345plane

Do you know the formula to make a perfect circle. For bomb bays. Relative to the width of the parts that make up said circle
