I procure a PSA Blem 16in with the 13.5 M-Lok handguard, a surefire white light, Daniel Defense Rock ‘n Locks, and an MVG, plus enough ammo to learn it well for home defense, since that’s what the founding fathers intended.
I think that's subjective.
But I do feel that way about some Brutalism architecture in which the sky isn't directly visible. Two of the images you've linked evoke some fringe of a distant feeling.

To my knowledge .50BWF is more suited for close work due to weight and ballistics or something. It loses energy faster (I think?) and gets blown around by wind and other factors that handicap its accuracy.
If you’re looking for an AR-15/M-4 pattern riffle with a caliber that’s larger/uniquer than 5.56 for the DMR mission, I’d recommend 6.5 Grendel. It’s not as optimized as 6.5 creedmoor, but it brings the benefits of a AR15/M4 pattern, with a standard magazine capacity of 26 and similar weights and setups. I don’t know if there are any militaries that use it, but you could justify it and make up your own AR15/M4 pattern platform. 6.5 Grendel usually just needs a specific magazine and upper (and barrel), but you can use the same lower as you might use for a 5.56 platform.
(I’ve had problems with feeding, but I think that was because of the gas system.)
There might be some 7.62 options too, but idk much. Definitely do some more research and find what works best.
Or, alternatively, just use 50 BWF. This is a fictional thing, just have fun with it if you want.
(I don't know much, Im just a dude who is really into American gun laws with minimal experience.)
I would not recommend .50 Beowulf as a DMR platform, allegedly it has very little range compared to other platforms, and doesn't even have the proper reach. Some numbers I saw but didn't verify said .50 Beowulf's max effective range is ~200 yards, while DMR engagements require ~500-800 yards. (also I expect you're planning to put a longer barrel and proper optic on that)
Aside from the .50 Beowulf, the others depend on your budget and logistics.
Also, I really like the attention to details on the gas block, birdcage(?), A2 grip, and basically the entire upper and lower receiver. Are you around firearms much?
@YarisHatchback because it's relatively cheap, and quirky, and it feels so much more lighter and nimble than papa or mike models or fuel injected 172s.

I’ll look into it, if I do work on it we can expect it late May.
I would love it if we could select our own preferences (relating to the second paragraph) from inside the builder

Keep bothering me
I can probably get back into business after May 13th or 18th when I finish all my tests

Some sort of colt machine gun, I’ve seen it somewhere before but can’t remember.
Is it just called the Colt LMG?
