Just finished it. I think it was good.
The intro part really worked well with the rest of it.
Otherwise I don’t really have many comments.
Other than “ Trifordu inquired dumbly”
That was randomly funny to me.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
I think com for psm planes is more important than lift scale being at a specific number. Lift scale can also be very variable depending on the size of the wings and on whether of not you are using fuselage wings.
I agree that 3 is good for most planes. (I might disagree though if simpleplanes stalling physics were a bit more realistic though)
@Graingy
Yes, the hundred word ones. I they really had an appeal to read,and they also had a decent storyline despite the short size.
Also, yes again, though not because I am disinterested in earth. I just prefer those stories. I think it's just personal preference though.
Lastly, by not bad, I mean good. It is definitely a better storyline than I could write. There was some confusion I had partway through about who one of the characters was, but I had misread part of it, so I think it was me, not the stuff I was reading.
@Graingy
I have not read this one yet. I enjoy the shorter ones more, (maybe just because they are shorter) but it seems like when your writing is in that shorter format, something else works better too.
I do plan to read this one if I get a chance though, the pinned comments and title are intriguing.
Edit: just finished it. As far as storytelling goes, it was not bad. I personally prefer the ones that are not as based on Earth, but I liked the publishing idea. I dont think I am a good enough writer to give much more feedback than that.
Well? That depends. If you are used to a computer, probably not.
But the iPad I used for several years was 5th gen (or something around that age, I think it was made in 2016 or 17) and it worked fine. There was some lag loading stuff, but it was definitely manageable.
Sp can run on literally almost anything.
Curated is when a mod or dev (I think the community manager can do it too) look over a post that has the VR tag. If the post does not break any rules, and if it works well in simpleplanes VR, it is curated.
Once it is curated, it will appear within the simpleplanes VR app, which has its own built in connection to the website. If I remember correctly, VR users can download non VR curated planes, but I dont think it’s as easy. (They have to be signed in or something)
As a curated craft, it gets bonus points per upvote, (30 points rather than 15 per upvote) but the description is locked, so the craft cannot be edited. This is because not only is the plane workable in VR, the description is also approved for simpleplanes VR.
@DeeganWithABazooka
Now, to answer you. I think you should make what you want to make. The point of sp is not to just follow what other people think you should make, its to make what you love.
If you don't like building something, that takes the joy out of simpleplanes. Whats the point of a game if your not having fun?
Build what you want. Points are not the objective; having something you like and are proud of is.
Probably having them all put together in the editor, and then starting the game (which spawns all of them). I have never done that though, seems pretty part high
I see one picture at the end, that's all.
+1Edit: now I see a lot more.
Where is the fat version of me being launched to?

Yes, but it is difficult on super potato stuff cause of lag. Results may not be mobile friendly.
