@Jiju20 How much time it takes for a project to be completed really depends on how much spare time I have. I don't spend every day working on projects, so projects tend to span over a week at times.
This project should be ready by Saturday if I have enough time.
@TheGliderGuy Thanks!
Yeah, that sailplane was part of this project's inspiration. The main difference (and the main purpose of the project) is the lack of a full tail.
@rexzion Eh, SimplePlanes hasn't set the greatest example for sailplane physics, mainly because SP doesn't have thermals, wave lift, etc. The easiest way for most people is to just add some horizontal wind for extra lift, which works.
Updrafts are just more efficient compared to H-Wind, so I always try to recommend using the command for updrafts.
@Dragoranos Ah, I think I see what you're getting at.
You don't need horizontal wind for gliders in SP, you can actually create updrafts to lift the glider up and keep it in the air.
@Jiju20 It's designed to be a slow aircraft.
It doesn't need to travel very fast, and realistically wouldn't be able to without breaking up into hundreds of pieces (due to its lightweight and flexible design).
I have a varied assortment of aircraft if you're interested (as well as some other non-aircraft posts).
I might have something that suits your interest.
@Spacepickle3214 Eh. It really only flies because of the stability system. Even with the system, the aircraft still has some slight stability issues (for example: if you try hard enough, you can get the aircraft to fly backwards).
@TheGliderGuy Thanks! It definitely enhances the look of the aircraft.

Ah, hello there. I believe you were the user with the flying fish I saw in MP?
I have three potential suggestions:

@8Ball postimages.org or Discord.
If you use postimages.org, use the Direct Image Link and not the normal Image Link.
Hello there. I figured I should let you know that the server
160.251.58.131
is operating again.@TheGliderGuy Thanks!

@WINGSIRON You can move the blueprint image away from the aircraft in the designer, and then focus on it.

@Dragoranos If I understood the question correctly, it would start flying?
Very fascinating design. I'll probably be experimenting with UDF's soon as well.
Sailplane perhaps?
@XAircraftManufacturer Glad I could help!
Absolutely. I could name a few reasons (better performance, mods, etc.), but the Multiplayer Mod is a really nice advantage.
@AlivePan 160.251.58.131 is now operating.
@BacchaNIKI I'll post a forum about it. Thanks for the information!
@MobileGamer21 Well, it's not an exact replica of the NASA Helios, so no.
The Helios, however, did have solar panels.
@DEADSHOT14 Nice to know!
@Jiju20 Of course, in SimplePlanes it wouldn't actually break up, but I wanted to keep the aircraft fairly realistic.

@Spacepickle3214 It's also not the most radical design, especially compared to lifting bodies, annular wing aircraft, etc.
@Spacepickle3214 Eh. It really only flies because of the stability system. Even with the system, the aircraft still has some slight stability issues (for example: if you try hard enough, you can get the aircraft to fly backwards).
@DEADSHOT14 You might ask a PC user to make one for you. I'm sure someone would be willing to help.
As of right now there is simply no application for importing images to SP on mobile devices.
There can't be any spaces, otherwise it will not work.

-ammo("MG-151")/75
Perhaps this would work.
Have you tried putting a
-
in front ofammo()
?On my profile page, there is a tutorial that breaks down the
IF
operator. That may help.@Onixbaron No problem!
@Onixbaron To put in variable data, put the variable in
{}
brackets.For example:
{VTOL}
. This displays the VTOL slider amount.@Onixbaron How you put that into a text label is up to you.
@Onixbaron Refer to this guide: https://snowflake0s.github.io/funkyguide/#partvariables.
It should give you information on creating a variable for engine RPM.
