@GuyFolk Dude it has 2D not 1D vectoring
Actually it does. The F-22 has thrust vectoring for roll and pitch maneuvers.
It doesn’t have thrust vectoring for yaw maneuvers.
Reason is because the F-22 is built with stealth being very much in mind. The shape of it’s thrust vectoring nozzles grants it some radar stealth from the rear ( it’s actually not completely stealthy from the rear, though it retains a quite low RCS).
The F-22 was designed to be excellent at BVR combat with it’s stealth and large payload of internal radar guided missiles. It is also meant to be able to engage Russian jets on a near level playing field at WVR combat ( something russian jets have historically been built to be good at), thus the thrust vectoring.
However, the design was always one of stealth and BVR first, WVR a distant second, and everything else well after that.)
contrary to belief, the block iii doesnt actually carry the CFTs. the block iii in the boeing video was only a tech demonstrator for the actual block iii. they didnt keep the CFTs because it was found that it was leaking fuel during testing. i got this wrong in my block iii build lol.
@IQinventory my guy, my one of my favorite fighters is the F/A-18, and i know for a fact that the wings are from a super hornet, not a legacy hornet. the F/A-18A to C has a smooth leading edges while the SuperBugs have a dogtooth leading edge.

+1@Krikkit42 flying anvil meant it was heavy and rugid
+1also the F-4E's countermeasures are located on its inner wing pylons, each pylons has 2 dispensers pointed backwards.
+1@TheAvgeekNextDoor the F-4E was not a brick i hate this common misconception
+1@IQinventory and also the engines are bit too far from each other

+1the nose and canopy should look flatter
+1@LunarEclipseSP okay so, now do the USS Beast 2 and instead of F/A-18Cs, it carries the F-35C

+1@SumateraIndustries cmon its easy, i even did one myself
+1disappointed that you used AI for the thumbnail because you can draw really good
+1lets be serious, do you really want a plane with engines that eat itself with no gun and suboptimal missiles?
+1incredible, mcdonnell douglas' new stealth technology that makes an F-15 look like an F/A-18
+1@LunarEclipseSP hold on maybe im wrong because it looks exactly like this build
+1this is not your build
+1the rear landing gear🥀
+1is it updated?
