I agree with all the points mentioned above, and I’ve even ranted about some of them lol. Personally I think that the dev team is still in the process of experimenting on whether certain features can be added; that’s why they can’t confirm what they’re going to add into the next update.
Also, I’ve observed that the single-most requested feature on SimplePlanes is tank tracks, but the issue is that the code for making these tank tracks is owned by a third party, and unless they personally hire him like they hired WNP78, Jundroo can’t add tank tracks into the game.
Besides, there is already a massive ton of vanilla tank tracks made by players that are available on the site; it’s just that people aren’t aware of them.
On the internet, 8 years is really old for a game, and of course the Jundroo devs would want to spend their advertising money on their newer game, Juno, which has a much newer engine, more features, and a lot of potential. SP may also have lots of potential, but it won't have as much hype as a new game, and the list of features they can make for SP without having to build a whole new game has probably been exhausted by this point, so that's why they don't advertise it these days.
You (and I) may support DLC, but people's needs are weird, and there are a bunch of people who not only want updates/mods, but expect them to be free. Like seriously, the mobile game is half the price of the PC one, and a phone can be 5 times cheaper than a computer. Ultimately every decision they make will be controversial, which is probably why they don't bother.
@Mihairus34 if they allow the game to be downloaded from a website, it would have to be free, and Jundroo would lose thousands of dollars a year.
(Idk if this is true, but every software that I've downloaded was free, because it's literally just downloading a file. Also there might be legal stuff involved)
@LunarEclipseSP cost-cutting, I guess. The interior had no seats, and the only porthole available was inside the bathroom.
The critical point of the submarine was that it used composite materials (because they're cheaper than titanium), which aren't able to expand or contract easily. So under 3000+ pounds of water pressure, the submarine's hull experienced high stresses, and eventually shattered.
In my opinion those users built the titan because it’s popular now. If they waited for 6 months they wouldn’t be compelled to build it at all, because by then no one would remember the incident.
Also, some people say that it’s offensive to make the Titan since people died in the disaster, but following that logic, so would be replicas of the Titanic that killed 1500+ people, and planes involved in air crashes that kill hundreds of people at once, and you don’t see people complaining about those. All these aren’t meant to insult the people who died through these disasters; it’s to keep the tragedies in our memories so that we don’t ever repeat them again.
Eucalyptus wandoo, commonly known as wandoo, dooto, warrnt or wornt[5] and sometimes as white gum,[6][7] is a small to medium-sized tree that is endemic to the southwest of Western Australia.[8] It has smooth bark, lance-shaped adult leaves, flower buds in groups of nine to seventeen, white flowers and conical to cylindrical fruit. It is one of a number of similar Eucalyptus species known as wandoo.

E. wandoo was first described in 1934 by the Australian botanist William Faris Blakely in his book A Key to the Eucalypts using material collected by the English collector Augustus Frederick Oldfield from a sand plain along the Kalgan River. As of January 2023, Plants of the World Online lists Eucalyptus redunca var. elata as a taxonomic synonym of E. wandoo.
The range of the tree extends from Morowa in the north extending south through the Darling Range down to around the Stirling Range to the south coast near the Pallinup River. There is an outlying populations found to the east of Narembeen at Twin Reserve. It is native to the following IBRA bioregions: Geraldton Sandplains and Avon Wheatbelt in the north through the Swan Coastal Plain and Jarrah Forest to the Esperance Plains and Mallee in the south.
E. wandoo was listed as Vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as of 2019 as a result of its severely fragmented population.
I mean, on paper it obviously sounds nice, but there a few issues:
- the lag generated by cities and 8K terrain would be intense, and only high-end computers would be able to run it. SP hence turns into a PC-only game, and as a result loses over 50% of its players.
- The source code of the game is over 8 years old now, so adding new islands into the map wouldn't be easy.
- Jundroo's a small team of less than 10 people, unlike Microsoft, and their main focus is Juno now, so they can't really spend much time here.
Of course, the map could be like that of Droo in Juno (man their airbases are actually nice lol), but with SP's current limitations I don't see a prospect of them adding a complete map until they make a completely new game.

1. Just trust my judgment; 3rd place isn’t so bad either. Anyway it’s because KLM liveries are too common and stripes are really simple, so it didn’t fully impress me and you get 13.
2. KLM 777 can be found here
Because those who can make realistic fictional planes, are those who have already mastered replicas (and have high creativity/imagination).
(For me, I usually make fictional planes, but I know how to build replicas, I just choose not to)
Still Approved (because I haven’t released results)
Score: 15/15
Even though the livery is fairly simple, I really like how you managed to achieve the logo on the tail, so congrats!
The lore is really detailed, and the posters greatly compliment it.
So with these, you’ve become one of the highest scorers here, good job!
(Adding to lore: upon the launch of the new Blu Point Connect, the airline ordered 20 D-01a-2s, the Advanced variant of the D-01-200. This made it the largest and second operator of the type, ahead of ISA.)
I remember the actual cause of flight 800 was jet fuel fumes being ignited by a spark from a cable for the A/C unit, but to this day there are still people who believe a bomb blew it up
In my opinion, you should try not to quit, as quitting midway can impact your self-esteem in the long run (I speak from experience.) Instead, you can try learning from tutorials, which can be found using quick internet searches, to improve your builds, and put more effort into them.
However, if you really want to leave, that’s your own personal decision and I can’t force it on you. Just don’t delete your account, it becomes really inconvenient if you choose to come back later.
@Neruneten21 FYI, if you already deleted the original post, your repost won’t appear as a successor, so remember to ask the mods to make it a successor to this challenge when you post it
Depends; if you 3D print a glider specially made to generate a lot of lift, it may fly. However, from what I know the plastic used for 3D printing is rather heavy, so I doubt any 3D-printed planes can take off.
Congrats on gold!
