Wunderwaffe serie

- Die Glocke
- Haunebu I
- Haunebu IIB
- Haunebu III

Read the controls carefully. It's an antigravity spacecraft !

An Haunebu I, anti-gravity module activated, spotted by the US Navy during the Highjump operation, 1946-47

How to use it ?

  • To take off, AG1, you take off vertically.
  • Then AG2 (motor on) and AG3 simultaneously, and disable AG1, having both stabilizers activated at the same time causes horrible vibrations. Use the throttle, once you reach a speed of at least 500km/h, you can deactivate the AG3 if you want to maneuver.
  • To maintain a linear flight position, use TRIM, but you can also activate AG3, at which point TRIM will become much more sensitive.
  • AG4 to activate the turret, select the target, it will aim automatically, and you just have to shoot.
  • AG5 to Activate the antigravity module.
  • AG6 for Lights.
  • AG7 to open the machine doors.

To make this Haunebu, I didn't base myself on the engine of my IIB as I had done with my III, I started again on a sound basis, while keeping the same way of proceeding. I didn't like the way it had to behave at high speeds, now you can keep the AG3 off, use just Trim, and still enjoy stable flight at high speeds.

Description :

This class of Haunebu is the first to see the light of day. After a terrible series of accidents due to several causes of hasty adjustments, the machine finally takes to the air without incident, January 2, 1945.
The design was ambitious, incorporating the antigravity motor developed in Poland (Ludwigsdorf), the famous "Glocke" and building around it an extremely resistant machine, both to shells and to the physical constraints imposed by the terrestrial atmosphere, including the fact of entering it. This led German scientists to develop a new alloy: "Leichtmetall", light metal of thorium and berellium, having incredible properties, once formed, the metal, even deformed, bent, returns to its original shape, it resists heat extremely well and offers solidity and lightness, the perfect metal to face re-entries into the atmosphere, or the combat.
The armament of the machine includes a turret, positioned on the roof of the machine, it is either guided by radar or manually, it is equipped with two 40 mm rapid-fire cannons, the weapon can go in or out of the turret, this device is present for aerodynamic purposes, it will not be used on the IIB because of its complexity, and the fact that on the II, the engineers will have succeeded in significantly increasing the power of the reactor, at point to ionize the air all around the device, which is not the case on the I.
For the crew to breathe, a chemical oxygen concentrator is present on board, the German engineers succeeded in developing it, while basing themselves on their research carried out for the submarines of the Kreigsmarine.
Nobody knows how many were built, we just know that this device is the most widespread UFO, there must be about twenty, some have been reported in South America, others appreciated in Antarctica, especially during the Operation Highjump, and one of them crashed near a little town in New Mexico in 1947, that town was called Roswell.

Terrible fight between a Haunebu I and two Soviet Yak15s which had the misfortune to bother this unknown machine. They will not be able to testify to what they have seen.

Well, thanks for reading, good flight !

@MadAgus In fact, it seems to me that it cost me about 40€, it's not huge, it's about the same price as my revell SR71 (and D21 drone included in the box)..

@CharlesDeGaulle I remember seeing it here in Argentina some time ago, the price was very high, its price was more or less the same as a motorcycle. I would love to see some of your models haha.

@MadAgus That's exactly why I bought it ! There was pressure on Revell to withdraw it from sale, and it was banned in France, I bought one at the right time at an affordable price. Now they are expensive. And I don't even talk about the price of the Squadron Model's one.

@CharlesDeGaulle wow, I have a vril 7 to assemble hahaha, I never assemble anything (because I don't have money haha) and I don't know what I need to assemble it, I was always more into collecting books such as "aces of the luftwaffe" and things like that. Revell's haunebu hadn't been taken off the market? In that case it is a very interesting piece!

@MadAgus I'm thinking of making the silbervogel first, then the Vril 7, and yes, the silbervogel has always interested me, I was even thinking of buying it as a model (sometimes, I build models of planes, tanks, and ships, I have a few boats, mainly French, so the aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle! And in planes, I have an SR71, a Haunebu Revell, as well as a Horten HO IX, a Jaguar, a Mirage III, a Rafale being assembled...)

@CharlesDeGaulle I would love to see those two hahaha, the silbervogel is one of my favorite luft 46 projects and the vril 7 I'm sure it will turn out better for you hahaha, ufos with few pieces work out better for me p:
