BOAC Wright W-2000 [VR-compatible]

It should be VR-compatible now...

The first W-2000 already had a full cockpit, and I thought that it would be curated. However, because of the cabin interior, it had over 1000 parts, which made it unsuitable for VR.

So, I tried again. All I basically did was remove the rear seating, so now only the front cabin has seating. And now, the part count has dipped from 1000 to just 800, so I think it works now.

At the same time, I added a BOAC livery to the plane, because I don't like posting the exact same livery twice.

I don't have much of a description for this; just enjoy the plane!

Controls

Because of the plane's weird design, the engine start controls and most of the functions are at the flight engineer's seat instead of the pilot's seat.

Flight Engineer Controls

  • Engine Start
  • Afterburners
  • Lights
  • Doors
  • Folding Wings

Pilot Controls

  • Normal flying controls, including yaw
  • Throttle
  • Trim
  • Brake
  • Reverse

I highly advise you find all the buttons first before you start flying.

Fun Fact About the Registration Number

This plane has the registration G-BOAD. Coincidentally, this is the same registration as, you guessed it, a Concorde!

This was the only Concorde ever to be painted in Singapore Airlines colours, when British Airways and Singapore Airlines launched a jointly-run service from Singapore to London. However, because of noise complaints from Malaysia and India, the service was cancelled after just 2 weeks.

After the Concorde was retired in 2003, this airframe was placed on permanent display in a museum in New York City, where it stands to this day.

So if G-BOAD was a W-2000 instead of a Concorde, what sort of adventures would it embark on...? The possibilities go only as far as the imagination does!

Hate is not the direct counter to love, indifference is

Your getting worked up about a group that doesn't even know you.

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes for future reference please just report the comment and block them, rather than arguing with them as kinda hard to argue with people who have all ready made up their minds and won’t change, I do wanna state you haven’t done anything wrong just wanted to make a suggestion to make things smoother

@teddyone02 precisely, idk why everyone has to make such a fuss about it. It's their own decision, so we should just leave them alone.

@SasuValentin2 there are self-proclaimed furries here and making this will place it in direct conflict with them, so it’ll probably be something that can get me banned.
Also even if I post it unlisted, you’re gonna use it, get into trouble, and it will be traced back to me.
Idk really, but I really don’t want to be involved in any of this stuff about furries, so no. I personally don’t support them either, but I’m not gonna say anything about them.

@Mustang51 you can check the connections of the left elevator, and remove any connections saying “Fuselage”; make sure it’s only attached to rotators.

Now this thing sure is cursed! Very fun though! Just to let you know I think the left elevator trim had something go wrong with it since only the right one works

@SasuValentin2 do you want me to get banned?
Also, this is a plane game, not the United States of America. This is not the place for you to express extreme views, because having opinions is okay, but the moment you start escalating the situation, you are setting up a conflict and spreading hate, onto a community that is extremely diverse and is maintaining harmony. This is completely unacceptable.
If you still really want to tell the entire world that you hate furries, sure, go ahead, but bear the consequences yourself. Do NOT try to push this responsibility onto other people, because these actions are YOUR decision, not mine.
If you are going to further escalate this conversation, reminder that this is MY post, and I have the right to delete whatever you say.
