@WIZARD2017 Yeah, someone made that for me a while back but I didn't have the opportunity to use it till bow. Once I remember who it was I will credit properly
@TheGuyYouMightKnow Just in case you think i had forgotten about your suggestion http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/11TQj3/Pierre-Drolet-Viper-1-2 I have made a start but keep getting distracted at present :)
@fernado475 yes kid, there's progression, all I was trying to say was a bit more time and effort will help you get points, my builds are massively different to when I started as they all bow have large parts counts and more detail, which is what attracts people to the builds (I like to think). Spend some more time on your next build to make sure it's right and nicely detailed and see what happens.
@fernado475 ok, no worries, try the forums. I did have a look at your builds, they aren't bad, just need a bit more time and detail and you will get the votes etc. Nick some bits from mine if it helps.
@Tang0five @Treadmill103 @Trainzo @ChiChiWerx @niggelas100 Thanks for the votes and comments, I enjoyed this build, pity my computer slows down so much when it's 700+ parts otherwise I would have added more detail (wing section for tail, lettering, bombs and racks etc)
Aw you didn't do the landing light in the intake :( barring that good job (quite strange as I was looking at the example at Sunderland aircraft museum yesterday)
@TheGuyYouMightKnow wow, I might just give that a go once I've finished my current build, it looks in desperate need of some canards though. Thanks for the heads up
@Formula350 to answer your question I think this is meant to be from the same sort of alternate reality as the other sbd designs, so the engine was basically an electricity generator for the propulsion system, I cheated and put a jet engine in it.
I'm amazed you go to all that effort, I use the mark 1 eyeball and scale figures from drawings etc (and it's recently been pointed out to me how easy it is to scale the whole plane) obviously your method will be more accurate but way more time consuming... credit to you.
@GhostHTX the eagle blood helps but mainly I found out that if u scale down a wing section it seems to maintain the same lifting characteristics as the larger panel so it's small but still has big lift, magic.
@Tang0five yeah suppose you are right, I don't mind constructive criticism I.e. this bit doesn't work right have you tried doing it this way etc. But the other stuff just comes across as unnecessary. I enjoy the game as it's lets me build whatever I can imagine (or pilfer from artwork / reality) and other people are obviously inspired in the same way, what you do on that tablet still amazes me. Anyway I'm running short on inspiration at present so may be a little while till the next build.
@Tang0five Thanks for the positive comments as always, I enjoy building different things, sometimes I just dont want to spend a week building something =) Some people do seem to be very negative and judgemental on here mind....
@ProcessedPlAnEs oops, I obv missed them when I nudged the rest, just nudge em into the tail, at least it flies better though now, oh and your welcome.
@Planefun ouch, burn time. If I had any control over game mechanics the suspension would not detach but as I don't and as I fancied using it for the first time I built this. If u don't use the booster engines it's fine, if it not daft when using them it's fine....
@Sgtk =( on the positive side I can probably spotlight you now. PS please ignore the noob mistake where i forgot to move the cockpit before posting.... doh.
@Benkelmans probably but I'm more interested in proportion rather than scale size (plus I don't have the foggiest how to build to scale without plans with dimensions etc.)
@MisterT I've had other people say the same for this version (No idea why it happens, works on my pc) but the others have all been working apparently. The 2d was the latest one.
@F104Deathtrap strange, I saved this one as the iid before editing it. I thought it was just the parts count that was slowing it down but mby not. Yeah the texture glitching is annoying, I think it's to do with the orientation of the parts so I'm stuck with it. Thanks for looking into it though.
@F104Deathtrap I wonder Why, it works fine on my pc, it does take a while to load but other than that no problems. I don't even know what I could have done to cause that issue, does the successor load?
@AdlerSteiner no I can't, the shape isn't formed by one block, it has slanted sides to it to infill between the fuselage part and the ridge. I've done it on the latest variant.
@AdlerSteiner I told you that was the hard part, I can do it but the part count will go up, kinda defeating the point of lowering the part count in the first place.
@LegnaK thanks man, i was starting to despair, everytime i spend a significant amount of time on a build it flops..
@Alien nice, I grew up with my dad having a 600ss :)
@Alien thanks man, I have a white and red 848 but never got round to putting a pic on here for my profile so stock photo will have to do :)
@WIZARD2017 Yeah, someone made that for me a while back but I didn't have the opportunity to use it till bow. Once I remember who it was I will credit properly
@AdlerSteiner thanks, the slant on the cockpit was the point of some criticism previously

Exactly what deathtrsp said. Have a look at my fitter or Heyford for an example
Well 17 upvotes sort of tells me that ww1 stuff isnt really appreciated.... Thanks to the 17 though.
@fernado475 have a look at @Tang0five s builds, he's on iOS (for his sins) and builds really well. It's all just a learning process though.
@fernado475 yes kid, there's progression, all I was trying to say was a bit more time and effort will help you get points, my builds are massively different to when I started as they all bow have large parts counts and more detail, which is what attracts people to the builds (I like to think). @fernado475 just out of curiosity, why plug your own builds on someone else's and not even upvotes the build you are commenting on?
@Tang0five @Treadmill103 @Trainzo @ChiChiWerx @niggelas100 Thanks for the votes and comments, I enjoyed this build, pity my computer slows down so much when it's 700+ parts otherwise I would have added more detail (wing section for tail, lettering, bombs and racks etc)
@GhostHTX @MoonKnight @TheGuyYouMightKnow Thanks guys, it is a futuristic design but also very 1940s in colour equipment etc.
@freedompilot98 good wow or bad wow?
Aw you didn't do the landing light in the intake :( barring that good job (quite strange as I was looking at the example at Sunderland aircraft museum yesterday)

+1@Formula350 to answer your question I think this is meant to be from the same sort of alternate reality as the other sbd designs, so the engine was basically an electricity generator for the propulsion system, I cheated and put a jet engine in it.
+2@Tang0five @CRJ900Pilot @RailfanEthan @ThePilotDude @Formula350 @LegnaK @TheGuyYouMightKnow Thanks guys, appreciate the comments as always.

+2Have a read about Eric "winkle" Brown (sadly died last year) but his exploits from ww2 till retirement was something else.
+2@Trainzo thanks, glad you like it.
@GhostHTX the eagle blood helps but mainly I found out that if u scale down a wing section it seems to maintain the same lifting characteristics as the larger panel so it's small but still has big lift, magic.
@Carbonfox1 yeah I saw it a while back but focused on some of his other work first, glad u like it though.
@Tang0five yeah suppose you are right, I don't mind constructive criticism I.e. this bit doesn't work right have you tried doing it this way etc. But the other stuff just comes across as unnecessary. @GhostHTX Thanks, sorry I didn't reply earlier, I missed your post. Glad you are enjoying them, which 300 did you prefer?

@Planefun it's the physics of the suspension leg, it only happens at high speeds but there's no fix other than remove the suspension...
@MEERKAT978 I was thinking more pirate of Caribbean when they stand in the moonlight :)
+1@MrDoolittle lol but if I do that I'm back to designing a normal aircraft, thanks for the comment though.
@Sgtk =( on the positive side I can probably spotlight you now. PS please ignore the noob mistake where i forgot to move the cockpit before posting.... doh.
@bjac0 eh?
@GhostHTX thanks, it was one of my earlier builds but didnt receive many votes :(
@communisticbanana @AmiYouri2007 @Itamar3553 @DarkSoul79 thanks guys, my best yet (didnt get featured mind)
@ChiChiWerx lol i knew i forgot something, i didnt scale it so is probs a bit small but at least its in perspective :)
@AdlerSteiner @CRJ900Pilot @CoolPeach @MrSilverWolf thanks guys. Appreciate the comments, spotlights and votes as always.
@Tully2001 i had a notification that you had made a comment on something but when i clicked it the link didnt work..? Any ideas?
Woot last.
@Benkelmans probably but I'm more interested in proportion rather than scale size (plus I don't have the foggiest how to build to scale without plans with dimensions etc.)

@Nguyenhuuhao0101 ? No idea, works fine on mine. It does take a while to load due to part count etc.

Awesome attempt :) ps your stars are pointing backwards ;)
@Freerider2142 @FastDan @CRJ900Pilot Thanks guys, it does look awesome in red :)
+1@AdlerSteiner I told you that was the hard part, I can do it but the part count will go up, kinda defeating the point of lowering the part count in the first place.
@88blaroo ive re-built it / stripped it of excess parts that i used to make the camo etc but its still nearly 500 parts.....
