1. Restock a plane’s weapons. Like the refuel command mod. When the airspace is crowded and I am parked at a runway, it would be nice to load up with weapons again without reloading the airspace especially in multiplayer. My potato laptop cries.

2. @vcharng commented about a regenerative health pylon. Regen health on all parts (with little indicator when full health) + my reload weapons idea when stopped on a runway would be cool especially since the fancy explosions mod will be coming out (I suspect damage models may be improved).

3. Advanced reflection shader for default light parts (suggested by @ZWLenning). Might be related to how the fancy explosions mod works. While your at it, NAPALM (suggested by @Davisplanez).

I love his realistic flight characteristics, and low part count. It’s the flight that matters and he nails the appearance too. Especially check out his F-35B. It’s hard to fly, but is just like real life! Even his Su-27 handles better than any other I’ve ever seen while looking super generic and simple. A true master.
To fine tune it, make sure the fine tuner mod is enabled. In the designer, click the fine tuner button on the bottom of the screen, click the settings button in top left, change “Multi-Select Pivot Mode” from “first selected” to “center.” @UserP194
@Lilshrimp So, it's been a while but if you still want to know how, I think I have it figured out. You really want to get in the mind set of "slow decent" when landing. The reason for this is that the thrust in front automatically comes out in VTOL down mode to "help" keep the craft level. Meaning if the plane at any moment leans upside down, you'll probably have to re-start. To slow down, use all the air brakes. Slide the VTOL lever down most of the way and have about 20% thrust. When you're going so slow that the wings don't work any more, smack that VTOL lever to the bottom and pull a 180 via YAW controls. Roll during the rotation to slow down further. Once the 180 is complete, if you're drifting backwards, slightly tap the VTOL lever from the very bottom WHILE THE THROTTLE IS AROUND 45% because when the VTOL lever moves out of that smack bottom spot, the auto-leveling system turns off leaving complete rear thrust control completely manual. 45% makes a good ratio of front and rear thrust so you don't do flips lol. Do this as many times as you need to slow down to stationary speed while aiming for the spot. Practice will make aiming easier. My last piece of advice is if you are descending to fast, tap the VTOL lever out of the -1, bottom, position with 50% throttle or so to deactivate the auto pitch system and let you control the rear engine's thrust better. I'd like to know how a real F-35 control scheme would works. I always thought this was like it but never checked.
Heyyyyy this is awfully reminiscent of that Dune movie. You finessed the design. How did you come up with this? It's so creative. You could totally use low part version of this to magnetically attach to the wings of a large plane. I recently thought of using something like this (https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/ri8n55/Aron-M-50) that drops from a big plane (think glider boat), with a useful car as cargo (for land) and a 'guardian' plane that can detach whenever (for quick scouting/light defense). That's some next level stuff in your head lol. I assumed the plane would only propel forward using the props and be part of a larger plane that gets it in the air. The whole VTOL aspect of this design is pretty unrealistic, hence it would make a good subsidiary of a larger vehicle. idk why I wrote all this but I admire the design.

Hey I know this is old, but did you ever create a camera that lock on AI aircrafts? I want something like that to make flying around other planes easier.
So, could you actually have the camera focus on your target? Like 'fly by cam' but it focuses on the enemy while the camera itself remains with your plane? I'm never going to do this myself because I can't, but I want a mod that does it.

To take it even further though, would you or Gestour ever consider making the wave settings change according to the game's built in 'dynamic weather' setting and/or time of day? That would make gameplay much more immersive.

A serious quality of life improvement to the game. To take it even further though, would you or WNP78 ever consider making the wave settings change according to the game's built in 'dynamic weather' setting and/or time of day? That would make gameplay much more immersive.
I know this is old, but one thing to notice is the safety factor. If you run out of fuel mid flight, there's no way to land. Maybe with BIG parachutes, but still no control of where the craft will end up.
Make a not so simple planes game with only the highest quality graphics and mods and resolution or something and sell it as a separate game. I want to make simple planes like a AAA game with mods, but keep finding it frustrating and impossible to do. A good opportunity to include some objective story like missions like military troop dropping mission or rescue people from burning building with helicopter or flying people around in big planes or advertising via smoke drawings in the sky. Maybe include space like atmosphere while your at it. BUT FOCUS ON PLANES!!! XD Leave modders with outer space to work with lol.

Oh! I love this update except for one thing…adjusting the fill on cube shaped hollow fuselage to exclude a wall does not create a space in its collider! It’s collider remains in the shape of a cube. How annoying is that?! An invisible collider. I thought I would be able to make a squared off U shape with space in the middle for stuff.
