I love the way the vertical stabilizer is surprisingly large for this aircraft, shooting it down should be easier.
The wing's angled surface would face incredible heat and pressure due to it's small surface, this design wouldn't last to Mach 1.5 or more lol.
But this design should be cool with A-G armaments.
Engine is a bit too fast compared to the real one.
You could bank for ~7-8Gs sustained with afterburner and still managed to get more airspeed is the only unrealistic thing that this jet can do unlike real life.
Bravo to this masterpiece and how this replica just being mobile friendly and detailed at the same time.
@Morsele
Considering that this jet is FBW lacked, it flew quite stable, adding dead weight to the front wing fuselage does it more stable.
The only issue is that there's too much pitch surfaces to pitch up and down, and both horizontal and vertical stabilizer is a bit short, especially horizontal.
This jet is too OP lol, I'm sure your description is wrong lol, this jet is too agile, too fast.
But overall, nice jet, just don't forget to add varibles to the HUD.
@NARY
"it flies like a brick because I haven't adjusted the thrust parameters"
Well, it's true but mainly that you haven't balanced your aircraft well, that's the main reason, also, your engine's weight and drag was set to 0, while engine weights like 30% of most fighter jets and drag is its main force.
"to prevent the camouflage from shaking as much as possible, I limited the speed."
Disable aircraft collision on some fuselage part, you might want to also set the weight and drag to 0 for camouflage ones, keep it on 1 to the main frame.
I might reinforce your jet to fix most of your issues.
@sKyCoS
I know this is quite unpleasant to you but you might want to learn how to build fighter jets more realistic.
Starting by adding fuel into specific places on your jet (don't use fuel tank alone), it's unrealistic. Also, you can start playing with CoL, CoM more so your jet could perform better.
Well, it also depends on you so don't get mad or anything, I'm just suggesting it to you since i see most of your fighters aren't ideal for maneuvering, which is an important factor for fighter jets.
It flies like a brick (even worse than MiG-25), i think you might go further research the balance of an aircraft, you made everything with hollow fuselage and you can't balance them all, just use more body fuselage and try to get the center of mass near the center of lift more (too close then It'll be a supermaneuverable plane, which asks complicated funky tree to balance it).
This is a cool design actually.
But it'll be hell to stabilize this jet if you wanted it to be good at maneuvering, since it has no horizontal stabilizer. (I might make more realistic version of this jet just like the previous one).
Nice effort on this replica, but the wing wasn't swept down like the original aircraft.
Also, the thumbnail is not "good looking" so you might wanna learn how to capture and edit it better.
@lazerguidedmissile
Well, i'd fix every issues that i spotted with this plane if i wanted to, not just the engines.
But i think that's just the way the builder would like to make so i just made my own reaction to this build.
I did hope it'll be agile but you limited the control surfaces too much, like damn your vertical stabilizer could only pitch for 10 degree, which is not suitable for even having a normal flight.
It's takeoff speed was really high despite having a long wingspan, the engine was too strong. It'll be more suitable for normal cruise flying like a passenger plane rather than being USAF's hell of a beast.
Hey! At least you added Slats, which is very rare for most builds in this site, keep it coming!
@AndrewGarrison
Have you ever think of opening another tournament for SimplePlanes 2? I think people enjoyed this event when it was released, too bad i didn't knew SP when this was hosted.
@kismit
This is a great build, i really love that HUD and MFDs.
However your F-16 is too stable and too heavy to do a high G maneuver, the engine is quite weak and you implemented afterburner even on low thrust but somehow could keep the speed when you do a circle turn.
In conclusion, just rebalance the plane and add some fbw (also slats) on this jet and adjust the vertical stabilizers to be able to angle up to 35° instead of 15°.
9/10 jet.
A heavy fighter but literally weights 4tons (even lighter than a MiG-21) and flies like a kite, literally has no drag.
Nice!
Cool!
The wings and the inlets was too high, the inlets are too big compared to the real one.
The UI looks cute.
+1@juraskov Won't run well on 3-500+ part planes.
I love the way the vertical stabilizer is surprisingly large for this aircraft, shooting it down should be easier.

Holy cow! This phone is x2 better than my Xiaomi Mi 11.
+6Not sure I'm good at designing planes but lifting the wings above the inlet would be more badass, and more maneuver.
@Whills
+1Congrats man!
Skinny ahh Su-30.
+2Dude makes 3 aircrafts a day, should open an aircraft manufacturer at this point lol.
+3That engine nozzle looks weird when it was used for VTOL lol.
Fun to fly! Not suitable for air combat.
I'd love to make an advanced version of this aircraft, would you mind if i do it?
Budget Foxbat!
That's JF-17's cockpit though.
Solid build though!
Thanks! I might use it in the future.
@Walvis
+1Make one, I'll wait.
@Unitedareospace
Not shut down, just produce lower thrust than the other.
Engine is a bit too fast compared to the real one.

@novaskytwt
Well, not anyone likes realism, it's totally alright, you don't have to sorry for it, you did what you desired for.

I love flying bricks with TVC.

If only @GuyFolk was still active to see this.
+1This jet would preferred to be ground attack aircraft but this is really dope design, simple and beautiful.

Looks like a blend of F-14 and F-15 (mainly).

@MrCopty
Welcome back!
+1@sKyCoS Have you flew my version yet?
@sKyCoS
@Zaineman
@Rjenteissussy
I'm making an advanced version of this.
@AndrewGarrison

Học ít cách chụp ảnh nữa là hoàn hảo.
Don't forget to add varibles for your HUD.
+3Beat the hell out of cancer, you can do it!!

9/10 jet.
@Kenzar
Maybe, but he built the SMT version and it's the biggest variant of the MiG-29.
@AverageBattleCatsKid That's not a bug, it's not designed to be able to shoot in the ground.
Can i borrow this MiG-23 to make my own version?
