History
The origin of the J-10 program can be traced back to a proposal by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force in 1981, aimed at modernizing China's air combat capabilities. This initiative led to fierce competition among China's three major aviation institutions. In 1984, the Chinese Aerodynamics Research and Development Center (CADI) won the contract, which was optimized for high agility and multi-role capability. Formally named 'Project 10' in 1986, this ambitious effort laid the foundation for the development of the J-10.
The first prototype took flight on March 23, 1998, marking an important milestone in the development of domestically-produced fighter jets in China. Mass production began in 2002, and by 2003, the initial training units received the aircraft. The final design featured a large number of aerodynamic improvements and cutting-edge avionics, achieving operational readiness in 2006.
J-10C
The J-10C inherits the delta wing and canard delta structure of the J-10 series, providing excellent maneuverability and high angle of attack performance. The J-10C is equipped with the most advanced avionics, reflecting significant advancements in China's electronic warfare and radar technology. The cockpit is equipped with three large multifunction LCD displays, a sophisticated holographic heads-up display (HUD), and an advanced domestic helmet-mounted sighting system.
In the game
AG1: Lamp
AG2: Open/close the canopy
AG3: Open the parachute
AG4: Ditch the drop tank
AG5: Abandon PL-15
AG6: Abandon the PL-10
AG7: Turn on/off the radome
In the military conflict between Pakistan and India on May 7, 2025, the J-10C shot down 6 Indian aircraft using the PL-15E missile, including three advanced Rafale fighter jets, which is enough to prove that China's military industry is moving to the forefront of the world.

Y'all are glorifying CCP at this point

@Ericshideout The J-10A entered service around 2000, but the J-10C entered service around 2015, so I wrote the 2010s according to the time of service of the J-10C
I had no clue the origins of this build go back to 1981. I would’ve guessed late 90’s.
