also as an engineering student I can confirm the motivation for taking too many credit hours is indeed "RAHHHHHH I WANT TO BUILD COOL STUFF" as well as a general "full send / we ball" attitude
@GhostMach Woah, calm down, man. I was just joking a little, but maybe it didn't come through as I intended (in which case I apologize for however it did come across, because I didn't mean it to be anything serious or rude). I'm not offended or angry or anything.
@GhostMach In that case you darn kids better get off my lawn
But either way, the automod can't ban people, falsely or otherwise. It literally can't. All it does is automatically generate reports which are sent to the actual (human) moderators, who then decide whether or not to take action in the same way that they have for the last eleven years.
Dream car? Second-gen Pontiac Firebird, hands down. I'm more partial to the '70-'73 (and of course the '77-'78) in terms of aesthetics, but honestly I'd go for any model year.
Realistically? Something that won't break on me, has a CD player instead of a touchscreen, and isn't a coupe or small sedan. (I don't have anything against them, but I am a few inches taller than average... also, cargo space is nice.) Not sure what that'll be yet, though.
@factpoultry Select the plane, go into edit mode, hit Ctrl+B, move your mouse, and click, then switch it to Vertices (instead of Edges) in the menu that pops up in the bottom left.
Woo!
I can't say I'm a fan of the AI cars (they just feel out of place since they're so different in visual style from anything the player can build, unlike the SP1 vehicles), but I'm excited to see more of the game and its world!
Fun fact: this is one of the preset options under the Report button on a post. You don't need to make a callout forum, just report the post and wait for the mods to take care of it.
It's probably possible to build your own, but I really doubt you'd be able to just take apart the two existing (presumably store-bought) ones you have and put them together.
@AndrewsGarsion Yeah, that's not something you can do unless they're both, like, on a Raspberry Pi or something that you could just rebuild one on the other board. Companies generally don't make their hardware in a way that lets them be combined in a modular way with others.
Well, you can get one that does all three (I have a Sony one that's pretty nice and works great), but if you want to combine the two you already have, I'd suggest duct tape.
Uhh... no. Not even slightly. First off, that seems to be Javascript-adjacent, which is not similar to Funky Trees, and second, even if it was, you can't just say stuff like part("rudder") and expect SP to know what you're talking about. That's not how it works.
Here's a tip: Don't use AI for Funky Trees. Just don't. Learning to do it yourself is way more satisfying (and really not all that complicated once you get the hang of it), and you can actually say that you know what your code does instead of relying on an AI that doesn't know what Funky Trees even is. There's plenty of guides, references, and people who'd be willing to help.

Twin Prop (Simple): This was your favorite stock plane prior to the 1.11 update, but you probably didn't fly it super often. You like the new parts added in 1.11, but the new Twin Prop just looks weird, so your mental ranking for the simple one has actually gone up. The short-lived tractor configuration variant is either a neat little bit of trivia for you or something that you didn't know existed, depending on how long you've been playing.

@Graingy good point
maybe y'all should start chanting or something
I didn't realize what this was about until I went to the comments. Oh. Oh no.
+4@TheMouse Nope, beyond the hunch that it's probably linked to the automod somehow because it just started happening after the automod was deployed.
+1Have noticed this as well.
+1Ah, to go back to the days when worrying about getting booted from a website was akin to the end of the world.
+3...maybe I am old.

Complaining about nine upvotes in four hours is interesting.
I discovered Marianas Trench recently and have been enjoying them.

AI generated music is repulsive, regardless of content.

If you are concerned that one of your posts would break the site rules... just don't post it. It's that easy.
