@Aviator01 Unfortunately, I can't. As I said in the description, this is essentially a nose-to-tail remaster of a craft posted about six years ago, but that was then lost when the original creator deleted their account. Sadly I can't remember who the original creator was, but I am certain that as of 2019 the original craft was no longer available on the website, if not even before that.
@Aviator01 Probably not. It's essentially the original Helikillia but with a bunch of fixes after some things got broken with the 1.8 update, as well as a pretty janky (by today's standards) gyro system. The Firebird is essentially a "modernized" version of it, built to take advantage of all of the updates and new features since the original was posted sometime in 2016.
You could also thwack in a bunch of the basic Seat parts (but make sure to remove the cameras so you don't end up with like 500 of them). Wouldn't necessarily be as accurate, but it would be a heck of a lot lighter in terms of part count.
The WW2 Destroyers are rather overpowered for what they're intended to be, but I find this to be somewhat reasonable as it puts them on an equal level with the regular destroyers.
Regarding the not-getting-blown-up bit, if you can get past their flak you should be okay (their close-range guns are the same as the regular Destroyers). Getting past the flak is essentially done best by rapid unpredictable evasive maneuvers. Takes some practice, and a lot of aircraft (including things you might reasonably consider for a WW2-era anti-ship mission, like an SBD-3) may not be agile enough to make it through intact.
Given the pretty basic damage systems in the game (if you get hit by a missile or flak, you go boom), there's not all that much else to do, unless you feel like experimenting with part health values via XML or something.
I'm getting some F-86 / early MiG vibes from this, so what about a type of sword? Gladius or Falchion, or perhaps Cutlass (though that's technically already used)?
Feels very light despite weighing over 25,000 pounds. The roll and pitch rates are rather different from each other, so I'd suggest either reducing the roll rate or increasing the pitch rate, depending on how maneuverable you want the plane to be. It can be a bit difficult to fly effectively if the roll rate is too much faster than the pitch rate. Also, it's slightly unstable with regards to yaw (it wobbles back and forth for quite a bit after the rudder is returned to center), but this is most likely due to the positions of the engines on the wingtips, and a tad more area on the vertical stabilizers might help.
@realSavageMan Here's a quick explanation of how to control the guns with a camera. The camera has "Look Pitch" and "Look Yaw" variable output options, so you set those to something (maybe "Pitch1" and "Yaw1" or something). Then, you set the gun's rotator inputs to those variables.
Two important things to note, though. You'll need to mess with the rotator speed, range, and input limits (to keep them from trying to turn all the way around and through things), and the camera can't really be attached to the gun itself, which is why this type of control generally works better for turrets than door guns.
@SheriffHackdogMCPE I don't think it was specifically Jundroo. Hando also had a hand in shutting down development on a HandoJet project for FlightGear several years back, I believe.
I had a bunch but I cleared most of them out while in the 1.11/1.12 betas, so now I'm down to mainly the essentials with the exception of the underwater camera (it was causing a lot of lag in the 1.11 beta, haven't gotten around to adding it back yet).
In my experience, the bridges only collapse if they are directly struck by something (plane, bomb, etc). If you drop a bomb next to one end of the bridge (but not on it), it most likely won't even notice.
maybe because there's a second "u" in "Augusta"
+1@PyrrhaNikos Sure
@Aviator01 I believe you'd be interested as well
@Lachlan2240 Oops, thought it didn't do that anymore! Should be fixed now.

Well the first problem I see is that that's an .mp4, not a .gif.

@OldBomber Not likely, as bombs generally go off if they get hit at all, regardless of their health.

@Walvis Got it, thanks!
Does the original creation need to still be available on the website?

There are only 5 music tracks by default (though they do all sound pretty similar), so it was probably a mod.
