    Most kind of you old chap! When hedge hopping in Madagascar, one must really look out for the Lemurs, what? Vicious little blighters... @Alien

    This makes me happy. Happy as Larry. Larry is reknowned as being bloody happy. Yes, she handles like a wet copy of the Times in a force 10, but with fire power like this, who needs to dodge?@MEERKAT978

    Bloody good to hear from you, old chap! Many thanks too, my dear fellow. The lack of bomber command memorial is not a case I was aware of. Bloody shameful, is what it is, though. But politicians will be politicians. On the other note; I never left, old boy. A slight change in my personal life has really eaten into my spare time, but I am still around. Im building an entry for the Bush Flying Challenge at the moment. Now, wheres that Gin? @Tang0five

    @MEERKAT978 I just noticed that this version still has a brace of AGMs mounted to each outer stores point. Please disregard and hit AG7 prior to initiating the take off roll. You will leave the offending guided munitions on the runway.

    Cool. I actually have an armed version too, re engined to have more oomph, and a back story involving the Army Air Corps and the need for a COIN/FAC kite. With 5000hp she is a hoot to fly. Uploading that one now. Story will need to wait.@Mustang51

    Wonderful. Just bloody lovely all round. Well, the model, anyway. The story (one which I was not familiar with) is one of typical post war British stupidity mixed with an exasperating tendency to give the yanks everything they want on a silver plate - type stories. Makes my blood boil, so it does...

    P.s. You’ll be spotlighting me soon.

    Bloody hell. Well, you've wiped the floor with my Vengeful. No contest. I love the back story too - very realistic. Vindaloo!

    I would give you a medal, but you've probably already got a drawer full of them, what?

    Very bloody well done, old chap.

    Wow. Many, many thanks! Im really glad you liked it! It took a fair while to build, but I think I nailed the «mid 30’s» look.
    You have warmed the heart of a poor sod who, thanks to a virus, is currently puking his way through an otherwise crappy friday.
    Oh, and a special mention to your desk building skils; hands down the best desk I have seen in SP. Possibly in my life. @poopatron71

  • Hypercar Challenge Entry 8.0 years ago

    Ground Effect is using aerodynamic trickery to create a low pressure zone under the car, in effect «sucking» the car to the ground. Here, I used structural wings with vtol flaps. It is possible with this set up to create negative lift. Try hitting top speed then pushing vtol up. She will fly. As in leave the ground. If you keep vtol down all the way she will stick to the ground. So the ground effect actually works. @DemonSniper8 Thanks for the review! Can I make another?

  • The Bomb Challenge 5 days ago

    @Mrcooldude Oh go on then.

  • The Bomb Challenge 6 days ago

    @MinutesTanker Ive thought about this and no, sorry. One nuke per entry. Having multiple nukes explode would cook my iphone…

  • (Object 160) B/A-160F 7 days ago

    @Pakdaaircraftindustries This is a front runner. Very nice. Asymmetric payloads are the best payloads. Followed closely by symmetrical.

  • The Bomb Challenge 7 days ago

    @MinutesTanker You can use weightless / dragless parts for making nice wings and details, sure. You can even adjust the mass and drag scale of parts for realistic performance (or to get things to work at all). Im not very picky. Im just out to make you guys design some quasi-realistic stuff!

  • The Bomb Challenge 9 days ago

    @Pakdaaircraftindustries No, not altering the payload, so good. Simply put - that would be within the rules, and completely legal. Possibly awesome, even.

  • Voxen JOX-015 9 days ago

    Quite the chonker. I like…

  • The Bomb Challenge 10 days ago

    @Boeing727200F Adding parts is fine. Deleting parts from the bomb is not. The thought of a rocket propelled Yellow Sun makes me happy.

    @Hooha12 Yeah sure why not? Just stick to the rules and youre good!

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @RRV19 well yeah - I said I dropped it from 10000ft. I didnt say I made it back to base… :-)

    Looking forward to your entry!

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @RRV19 Im not sure what you mean? I just dropped it from 10000ft, and it went boom just fine?

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @RRV19 Hm. Ive dropped the bomb tens of times from several bombers, and apart from the times where it completely missed the ground (hit the water instead) Ive never had a misfire like you describe. You can add bits to it, though. A parachute is fine.

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @Mrcooldude the B-29 is Edward C. Wells’ solution for dropping nukes. I want to see Mrcooldudes solution!

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @Pakdaaircraftindustries thats what I like to hear. You have no idea, but will try anyway! This is the way.

    @Mrcooldude Absolutely! Have at it!

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @WarLightning Thats the spirit!

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    NOTE! RULES CLARIFICATION!!
    The bomb itself is around 15 parts. So I will not crucify anyone for going slightly over the max part count.

  • The Bomb Challenge 11 days ago

    @Warsforyou Good stuff! Looking forward to your entry!

  • North American XF2J-2 Charger 2.7 years ago

    @LieutenantSOT Yeah! I looked at the XF15C to get ideas as to how the markings / colourscheme would look. The NATC was new to me so I googled it. I thought it would be perfect for a prototype.

  • North American XF2J-2 Charger 2.7 years ago

    Bonus points to the man, woman, person, camera, tv that spots the mistake in the picture / title.

  • North American XF2J-2 Charger 2.7 years ago

    @Kazin Fr fr no 🧢. Seriously, though - thanks! Im actually amazed it has so few parts myself. Especially since there is a working cockpit, flaps, custom landing gear and custom canopy. I really appreciate the upvote and comment 🙏🏻
