Very interesting design! I have manually reduced the fuel to 2000L in order to keep the vehicle within the Challenge's rules. Flying this is a challenge in its own right! haha xD.
I have noted and scored your blimp. I will release the score when the deadline has passed.
@realSavageMan yes you can :) If it fits the rules, just link it in the comments below.
@Planegenrale download the challenge and build over it. When you upload your build, it will show as a successor to this post. If it doesn't, you can link the vehicle you upload in the comments below. No need to be my follower to enter, as long as the vehicle you build follows the rules.
@Zatomika a hover car is allowed. As long as it follows the rules set in the description above.
@032 I just altered the gear parameters and it worked splendidly! thank you!
As for the air brake, the airplane's true airbrakes are the wheel covers. I.e. When the gears are down, the airbrakes are on (Saving costs at its finest!) .
I can easily make an airbrake inside the aircraft and call it a day but I wish to keep it realistic
I can also make an airbrake inside the aircraft that functions on when the gears are down, but that would slow the plane down drastically for take off.
I can increase the drag of the gear flaps for them to act as the air brake but that would alter the overall flight performance, not reaching the proper airspeed I wish.
If you think you can solve this conundrum, by all means make a successor and I will gladly have a look!
@Sunuv Yes, how else are you going to rotate engines?
@R2d2hunter The Vehicle can ride on sea (as a sea plane of sorts), but as long as it flies from Wright airport to Yeagar airport. If it doesn't fly the whole way, it will loose points.
@UsualPiooneer Sure, as long as the vehicle won't exceed the speed mentioned and doesn't use wing, helicopter or gyro parts to sustain a stable flight.
@asteroidbook345 Will re-write it, thanks for pointing it out
@jerrygriff21 For the image, I have duplicated the aircraft by sending the whole aircraft without cockpit part to the sub-assemblies, and duplicated the plane multiple times. Then I used the attachment editor to attach all the planes together. It doesn't really fly too comfortably, but it gets an awesome screenshot...
Alternatively, you could pick up a few friends, meet up with the multiplayer mod and fly with some friends..
@UsualPiooneer The plane is rather small and simple as is. I felt that keeping this plane simple will keep its charm. Especially for multiplayer airshows if anyone would be interested...
The Centre-of-weight of the plane is behind the Centre-of lift. You need to add weight to the front.
My suggestion is to start by removing all Deadweight and fuel of the plane; move all the fuel onto the wings, and put the deadweight onto the nose area until the Centre-of-Weight is IN FRONT of the Centre-of-Lift.
@ChrisPy you'd be surprised... My guess is that upvotes more come from the popularity of the plane and certain level of perfection.. Something i'm not patience enough to do...
Set the Fuselage parts covering the wings as the following using the overload or XML edits:
disableAircraftCollisions = True
CalculateDrag = False
massScale = 0
dragScale = 0
Otherwise, you can remove the fuselage parts covering the wings altogether...
All jokes asides, I did wish to give this plane a fly-by-wire system, however I am still too inexperienced to make that work... maybe at a later date I will implement it...
Pretty good docking skills! What is the intent of the plane? (Airborne highjacking? Airborne repair? etc...) Also, Would you like to try your hand on My airborne aircraft carrier?

@ThatShipGuy I limited it to try keeping the plane realistic. It's my way of doing things I suppose. I know not many people like it, but hey, feel free to change it :)
@asteroidbook345 just recently had the urge to repaint mine. I suppose the F-5 is kinda like the Deus Ex game. If it's been mentioned, somewhere, someplace, an F-5 is being modelled in simpleplanes...
Really like this one in particular! Low part count and fantastic detail! Brilliant job!! Would you be interested in making or joining me to make this model an airborne aircraft carrier?
As someone who also built the A-4 recently, I respect the difficulty of buiilding the A-4 xD. Did you choose a specific version of A-4? I noticed the cockpit is a bit longer than the usual A-4 models...
@ChrisPy I agree that the plane accelerates too fast, however it was necessary to keep the plane's cruising speed satisfactory. At least it doesn't maneuver too unrealistically. Could you recommend a better engine configuration? Or maybe make a successor version?
As for custom wings, I agree that the game's default wings are annoyingly blocky. I have tried made custom wings from time to time, but I feel that sometimes it works and looks fantastic, sometimes it doesn't and looks even more blocky.... Maybe it just me :/
A very good try! Reminds me a lot on how I used to make my earlier builds. It's a very smooth plane to fly and looks equally gorgeous.
What I'll point out is that the in-game plane parts are relatively small. You plane's measurements won't stack up unless you modify their size too. Also, the plane tends to swirv a lot of ground taxi and take-off. Happens to my tail-dragger planes too... not sure on how to fix that :/...
Non-the-less, very nice build, keep up the good work :)
@Liquidfox01 Yep, I originally wished to give my A-8 Aquan an engine similar to the Harrier 2 concept, but as I started modelling in, it starting resembling the P1216 model specifically..
@Ryan110 Feel free to do so :), would probably be a better gunship than the e-2 hawkeye (not that it's bad, just this plane would probably be more convincing)

@Zatomika the vehicle needs to sustain flight between wright airport to yeagar airport. if it floats or sinks all the way, points will be deducted.

@NintendosmasterpieceMARIO yes, if the plane is a collab, would it be possible to associate 2 users on the site to a single plane creation?
Awesome!! Keep up the good work!

@GroBaleaze here you go

@TheLurkingVexedVortex It's this
@Ruskiwaffle1991 Technically yes, however it would have taken quite a lot of time and effort to make.
Fantastic build! Hats off! Now I can fly like a tumbling owl stick in hay! :D
@ChrisPy Noted. Any way to confirm how to know how many drag points to keep or remove?
@Macrophage - that particular model was incorrectly uploaded, please follow this instead...
@ChrisPy Could you specify what you mean by:
SP thrust 4000
RL thrust 3000
Because I'm not sure what you mean here...
@ChrisPy you'd be surprised... My guess is that upvotes more come from the popularity of the plane and certain level of perfection.. Something i'm not patience enough to do...

@AzureSamurai Thanks! Appreciate the input
looks like a stealthy Pzl-230x
@RongahSah
Sophisticated tea stabalizer system installed

@EternalDarkness - Not a problem, I truly appreciate the trouble you're going through for these requests.
@K2K - Will reconsider my entry for the challenge. Will keep you updated.
@EternalDarkness, thanks you
@EternalDarkness , please make this plane a successor to @K2K 's SPCS Cold War Naval Aircraft challenge
May my A-8 Aquan D-1 enter this challenge?
Really like this one in particular! Low part count and fantastic detail! Brilliant job!! Would you be interested in making or joining me to make this model an airborne aircraft carrier?

@ChrisPy Thanks for your suggestions, will try to consider it for future builds. Was thinking I picked the wrong engine for this build?
Wish there was an acceleration and fuel consumption modifier for engines, would make it a hell of a lot easier for everyone.
@EternalDarkness - Kindly make this plane a successor to @Memri's Ground attack challenge
FAST BOI!
May I enter my Su-23 Fogg-D for this competition?
@DarDragon *Padum tsh xD

@smolensk Don't think rockets are very accurate to begin with...

@KnightOfRen Hell yeah it is!!
@EngineerOtaku noted, thank you
Awesome job!!! Knew this would be a fantastic addition to Simple planes once I saw the Mustard video :D
Gotta test this out soon! Looks awesome!!!

@DJ2keroni
Did 3 of them a while back, has a small similarity to the D Model rather than the F Model
Don't know if you're reffering to a different model altogether...
