Mig-29G Fulcrum JG73 Wing

50.7k Falkenwut  3.1 years ago

Name: Mig-29G Fulcrum JG73 Wing
Type: Replica with Detailed Paintjob
Attempt #: 5
Falkenwut Generation Build: 6

Yet another iteration of my MiG-29's I've been working on. This time, colored with the colors of the former German Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 73 Squadron.

Special thanks to @ChrisPy who patiently helped me figure out Engine Thrust and Drag ratios. Tried my best to give this plane a more realistic weight, Engine Thrust and control. Comparing to DCS World, this plane handles rather similar. I hope you guys enjoy flying this plane.

VTOL - Flaps
Trim - Trim

1 - Use Drogue chute
2 - Jettison Tank and activate Airbrake. (As per real counter-part, the MiG-29's airbrake does not function with there is a tank loaded in the centre pylon)
3 - Jettson AAMs
8 - Toggle Lights.

@Inuyasha8215 -at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't,or where it isn't from where it is,whichever is greater. It obtains a difference or deviation. The guided subsystem uses deviation to generate corrective commands to drive the missile to a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position that is is the position where it wasn't.That it follows the position where it was is now the position where it wasn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that is wasn't,the system has acquired a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is and where it wasn't.If variation is considered to be a significant factor,it too might be corrected by the G.E.A. However, the missile must also know where it was.The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows: because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained,it is not sure just where it is.However,it is sure where it isn't,within reason. And it knows where it was,it know subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice versa. And by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be and  where it was,it is able to obtain the deviation and it's variation, which is called:ERROR.

No normally it’s just the feel. Go into dcs and see how long it takes you to get to 400knts from takeoff and then you can try to replicate that in your build@Falkenwut

@ChrisPy Noted. Any way to confirm how to know how many drag points to keep or remove?

Most of the time you will never reach your max speed and that’s actually ok

Drag points are a bit too low you want your top speed only at high altitude and your speedometer needs to be set to TAS
