@BogdanX Good points I will keep in mind on my next build! Yes, the plane is much more aerobatic than the real one. In reality she had wing loading close to a Spitfire, but the tapered wingtips lead to wingdrops in hard turns, very dangerous. I'm really pleased you like her, and thanks for the spotlight!
@BaconEggs Hmmm. Looks promising, but I'm not sure sec. McNamara would've put up funding for something like that. He was obsessed with multirole craft, which is a useful concept, but sometimes you need to specialize too. You know?
@Bearclaw189 Cool. The Foxhound is what is called a "boom and zoom." Instead of maneuverability, she uses her powerful radar and even more powerful engines to get into missile range, take the shot, and get outta there before anyone can shoot back. Classic hit and run.
@Bearclaw189 Mig-29 is harder, the fuselage is very complicated. If the Falcon gave you trouble, perhaps try a Mig-31 Foxhound? It's bigger, and faster, but the design is just a pair of tubes leading to a box and then a gigantic nose.
Yeah, I cringe. But then I remember that I built plenty of those myself when I first got the game (I just never posted them, thankfully). I see the spotlight as a way to encourage newer builders and also to encourage people who try something really far out.
@GritAerospaceSolutionsLTD A very strange development from your account. A friend of yours? Besides, my point stands. If I don't like what gets posted, I try to build the things I think should be on the site. Do I enjoy seeing 500 ME-109's every day? How about pointless piles of turbofans attached to wheels posted as "fastest car evurr"? Or the obligatory 900 missiles hastily duct-taped to someone elses plane and posted as an "upgrade"?
No, I hate that stuff! But instead of insulting those people, I support people who want to create good things. And I try to upload creations that call attention to things I'd rather not see forgotten.
If you see a lack of quality builds then I recommend you do your part and start contributing projects of your own. I, for one, promise to be more supportive of your posts than you have been here and if you need any tips I'm sure there are plenty of people more than eager to help out. It's only through new blood that the community will thrive, and while you may think your constructive criticism was well intentioned, actually building stuff would probably serve a better purpose.
Download this plane. Rip off one of the main wings (not the tail wings) and save it as a subassembly called "NON-flappy wing". You can also use it as a tail if you want, but you have to change the foil to symmetric and the inputs to pitch or yaw. Good luck.
@PhantomBladeCorp Thanks for the support!
Impressive as ever
Big boat. Type IX?
@BogdanX Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to try her out
@Chancey21 Sure thing. It may take me a day to get in front of my PC to work on it tho.
@Sgtk Hahahaha, thanks!

@Davisplanez XD
@CarsonG1017 @aircraftarsenal123 Ok, finished version is here. I hope you guys like it.
@SSSvaSSa Dang, you're fast!
Typo in the winner link. Awesome challenge, great planes all around!
@Storm41 Thanks!
Welcome to SimplePlanes
@Tully2001 Don't forget this little classic!
Weird. I like it!
Woah.
Not my fave Enterprise but this is certainly one of the best looking builds I've seen.
Its easy to get jelly of other ppls success, but the key is focussing on yourself and examining how you can improve, not pull others down. Sad.
@BaconRoll @Strikefighter04 A great victory for glorious Soviet Argriculture!
@LuciferOfPoland lol Take it apart, see for yourself. The tailpipe alone has almost 50.
Hey man, cool truck
@RailfanEthan Are you sure it's not in reference to the worst Stallone movie ever?
@BaconEggs Hmmm. Looks promising, but I'm not sure sec. McNamara would've put up funding for something like that. He was obsessed with multirole craft, which is a useful concept, but sometimes you need to specialize too. You know?
@TheMutePaper That's cause she got cancelled! I guess Lockheed hadn't buttered up the Army brass as well as they worked over the Air Force.
Yeah, it would have been interesting if the Army had gone with the Cheyenne instead.
@MOPCKOEDNISHE @Caveman999 Ok, I get it now. Sorry, I got carried away there.
@MOPCKOEDNISHE Yes, but which mod?
Awww yeah. Nice.
@MOPCKOEDNISHE How did you import the textures?
How did you import images into the builder?
@Strikefighter04 <•••••This guy gets it.
Looks like a destroyer with an office building added on the back of the bridge. What is it?

@Bearclaw189 F-16 would be fun. Pure, clean design and excellent agility. Mig-29 if you want something more challenging. How does that sound?
@Bearclaw189 Ok. I can help. You want something from now, the future or the past?
Do you want a something for air to air or air to ground?
And finally, you want something fast and high or low and maneuverable?
What? You don't Goat Simulator? Its way better than Grass Simulator!
@Andrewtheplane Not a bad idea, but I think what he really needs is a good old fashioned PZL M15 "Belphegor", don't you?
@Chancey21 Bricks are easy. You just throw them really really hard. That's how they got the Phantom to work!
@F4f879 I believe the engine was pretty old but I'm not sure why it failed.
@GritAerospaceSolutionsLTD XD XD XD XD

@AviownCorp Shakespeare used to scare me the way math scares you. I still hate reading his stuff, but seeing it performed lets me make sense of it.
Maybe if there was something you could use to visualize math it would make more sense?

@Othawne I'm releasing it later this week. Let me know how I can improve it here
@jamesPLANESii I followed your advice and I think it was a big improvement. Check it out
@F4f879 @darkhawk138 @CRJ900Pilot Sneak peak is uploaded! Check the link at the top of the page for a test drive. Let me know how i can improve it.
