@cheese99 This is the first plane I ever posted. It carries 4 interceptor missiles that can be dumbfired without lock by pressing AG7. They are nothing special, but feel free to use them.
The solid-fuel boosters evenly balance the large liquid fuel tank, the liquid-fuel engines on the back of the orbiter are balanced to the orbiter itself.
@cheese99 Flip the detacher so it falls off when you activate it. Attach the nuke to the back of the detacher then attach the missle to the bottom part. The whole thing will launch when you activate the detacher, you just have to hide it all inside the missile somehow with nudgung and scaling.
@cheese99 Interceptors, Gaurdians and Infernos can be "dumb fired" like an unguided rocket if you put them on a detacher and then activate the detacher.
@pavthepilot The funny part is that the Brits had the tech to build jets before the war, but the ministers were too shortsighted to back it. Then, when they had the Gloster Meteor, they were too scared of letting it get into enemy hands to fly it anywhere it might be useful!
It was a good plane, but it wasn't the uber-weapon people pretend it was. The Germans wasted many precious resources on 'silver bullet' projects when they'd have been better served by putting said resources toward more proven technology.
Think about what type of stuff you want to build, run a search to find highly rated versions of that stuff and then tear that stuff apart to see how they made it.
@DPSAircraftManufacturer Thats the right speed for it to happen at low altitude. Airliners climb to great height before accelerating to cruising speed.
I am pretty sure the wings don't start going crazy until you hit the sound barrier at low altitudes, a place where the plane would tear itself apart in real life. But my memory is hazy, it's been a long time since I've used unmodded wings.
@Chancey21 Well, maybe this is some new kind of slat? Something to aid with the transition from vtol to regular flight or something. Perhaps its for low speed roll control, like a spoiler.
Those are called slats. Pretty basic control method for the last 60 years or so. You should read up on this stuff, its interesting and it'll help you make more realistic planes.
A couple points. First, I'm sorry your cars and trucks don't turn more heads. Second, the most recent one is cool, but the pic is kinda bad because it makes the details look blocky (the details are fine, it's just a very close up pic). It's an awesome car, and I think the rising sun hood is very cool, just not a great pic.
Ok, no more numbers. Beyond that, they key to upvotes is getting on the front page. Its hard for land vehicles, especially stuff that isnt millitary or racing. I usually upload in the morning (EST) during the week, that seems to give enough people a chance to see what I've made.
@Irobert55 I was only responding to his kamikaze statement, not your kinetic weapon concept. Good luck, though. Its fun to explore the "physics" of this game.
@Mattangi2 I'm working on a camera guided cruise missile that works like that. I've successfully sunk the USS Beast tasforce from Sky Park City using early mockups fired from a stationary launcher. The final version will be air-launched from a supersonic bomber.

@WNP78 If you could link me when the mod is released, I'd be grateful.
+1The camera view is exactly one block up from the base of the camera.
This is useful because it means the camera can be easily concealed and only requires minimal effort to line up.
Making it easier to line up at the cost of concealment would be one step forward, three steps back.
You should use the off topic tag, women love men who use tags appropriately. Also, don't ask for romantic advice on a gaming website.
PS, good luck with the depression. One foot in front of the other, time will help.
+3Hey Chief
The camo looks excellent.

I wonder how fast the wind needs to blow to get this baby moving...
@CSP27 You are absolutely welcome, no trouble at all XD

NICE!

@cheese99 Yup, it's all in there. The missiles have attributes for thrust, max speed, turning rate, all kinds of stuff.
@Adlerkrieg "Aint my fault, Oddball. I've done nothing but have good thoughts about that bridge ever since we left!"
+1KNOCK IT OFF WITH THEM NEGATIVE WAVES!
+1Nice picks!
@RailfanEthan Do not cry, there will be others. HERE help yourself to a happy old railroad tune.

Are you snitching on my man @Dllama4 ? Is Wayne Brady gonna have to... uh, nevermind.
+3@RailfanEthan U jus jelly he no ask 4 trainz!
Use the search tool.
@BaconEggs Can't you just set the exhaust scale to 0,0,0 ?
You know, I thought the wing had more sweep than this, but you've actually got the shape just right. Nice work.
@pavthepilot Sure
That is not a proper image link.
+1@QingyuZhou Working on a Soviet era Tu-22M2 "Backfire-B"
Bookmarked, thank you very much. As I've said before, it's so cool how generous you are with your skill.
+2@diegoavion84 I usually keep SFX all the way up, old habit from shooters. Sometimes the sounds give clues in SP as well.
+1@jamesPLANESii Eh, I don't think music effects the lag.

Ok, step one: disable the music. SP has good music, but hours of troubleshooting to the same song will contribute to mental illness.
In the old days, the mods would threaten to ban people for writing "Dear John" posts just for publicity. lol
@Nerfenthusiast Holy necromancers, Batman! This post died 10 months ago.
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer Cruise altitude is 30,000 ft. You're probably safe above 25,000ft. Below that, the air is too thick.
"Structural" is not a scientific term, they only mean "it does not flex"

You are focussing too much on one kind of plane. Build something different. Different times, sizes, purposes.
