Having test-flown this plane, I have a few more suggestions. You should enable trim on elevators, and flaps are set so that one goes up and the other down when VTOL slider is moved. Other than that, very pleasant build to fly.
You should try to get elevator hinge line straight. You can achieve that with Overload. Other than that, exceptionally good looking build for a new guy, very promising.
Custom wings are very rare on first builds.
I advise using tags to make your build easier to find by others in the future.
Welcome to the community.
The build is very nice. I like it.
I'd just like to offer a small correction to the description: Tu-128 was an interceptor, not a fighter. The role of an interceptor is as far removed from the role of a fighter as is a bomber or an attacker. It's not a plane built for air superiority, but solely for taking out incoming bombers and reconnaissance aircraft.
@CookieCrumzReturns new mods are pretty good too. Old community members, all of them.
I'm still here too, just not moderating. I'm also still making builds, though I rarely actually post them.
@CanadianAircraftBuilder it was that really well built twin by a bronze user. You gave it quite a praise. It was a copy that intentionally bypassed successor system.
@Imvictor you should never claim other people's builds as your own. The build you stole is a very popular build of my friend.
Stealing builds is against the rules.
@JuliusCeasor98 it's all right. The site has a system for finding original builds, and links them automatically. Still, thanks. I'm glad you like this build.
@CarMaker20 it's not worth it. You get to deal with a bunch of annoying users who hate your guts because you are enforcing the rules they have agreed to follow. I have received literal death threats when I was a moderator.
@CarMaker20 it comes with a temporary ban, duration of which depends on the severity of the offense. When this post was made, it wasn't so. A strike was a permanent note visible only to the moderators.
I am no longer a moderator though. Things might have changed these days.
There are better ways to control an airship than a gyroscope. Mine (you can find it on my profile) uses differential vertical thrust for buoyancy and attitude control.
I like the design, though it could use some refinement. I believe future iterations will be even better. If you need any tips, feel free to ping me, or find me on Discord.
I didn't catch your reply on the previous post before it was removed. What was it?
By the way, you can put that cool picture you used there in description.
Thumbnail has to show the build as it is, not a picture of what it was supposed to look like. It's in the rules.
I advise removing this post and posting it again, before the moderators get here.
Nice build, by the way.
@VanNick2309 did you build this from scratch? If so, or if you are interested in building ships on SP, you should join PortSP, a Discord server I run with some friends that focuses on building ships.
As for the community, most of of the people here are happy to help as long as you're polite and follow the rules.
@asteroidbook345 the usual rule is that a 120mm gun can be reloaded by hand using the casing (shell and propellant as one unit). 130mm is a stretch. 152mm either requires a two-piece payload (separate shell and propellant) or an ammo hoist. Keep in mind that mass increases cubically. Shell for a 122mm gun is around 20kg, shell for a 152mm is around 40kg, up to a bit over 50kg.
@asteroidbook345 this is not a low velocity gun you see om ISU-152 or KV-2. This is a 6t high velocity naval gun.
The biggest gun fitted to a tank during WW2 and in the late 40s was a 130mm high velocity gun, and even that showed significant drawbacks. It has a fairly low rate of fire, even though is was a later gun, it has too much recoil, too much weight, ammunition is way too big and heavy, it needs too many people to operate...
Technically, you can fit this gun to an armored chassis, but you won't achieve anything with it. It's a naval gun.
@GabrielFangster70 yeah, I have slowed down quite a bit lately. I have some better builds under construction, this was supposed to be just a detail for one I gave up on.

It took you a while to reply XD
I'm always happy to help promising shipbuilders.
I now run a Discord server for shipbuilding on SimplePlanes. Drop by if you're not already in it.

@Fish83828 lol
@Fish83828 I'm glad you like it.
@RedAndGreenAmongus a lot of effort went into reducing the part count. I'm glad it was worth it.
@CanadianAircraftBuilder original was by my buddy Authros, I watched it being made, so easily recognized it.

@CanadianAircraftBuilder @MAPA link to the original build. This is a copy.

@JacksEpicGamingYT developers are above moderators. They have higher authority.
@Shootingstar07 Sure.
@Vincent, can you help out here?
@DeveloperKorzalerke There is a saying where I'm from. Roughly translated, goes "What a smart man is ashamed of, a fool is proud of".
It's a nice conversion. Appropriate for this chassis.
@DuskV yes. The engines themselves would be in a room next to the intakes, and would deliver power to the propellers via shafts.
@CarMaker20 I was a moderator.

Oh, hi (:
@UmbrellaCorporation why delete your comments?
@UmbrellaCorporation I can contact him the same way you can: through the contact link in the footer of the page. Unless it is absolutely urgent.
@UmbrellaCorporation hardly. I haven't heard from the guy since I stopped being a moderator.
@UmbrellaCorporation hello.

@Diloph there's both auto-credit and description credit.
@HuskyDynamics01 nice upgrade.
@BgGaming it's some ancient background mod whose name I forgot. I don't have it anymore.
River patrol boat.
@WaitBreadIsntAfruit I used to be a mod. I'm not anymore.
@Vincent would you mind?

@RaendyLeBeau thanks.
@Cope sort of, depending on what you consider Yugoslavia. I was born in 1995.
Another little piece of advice, give your ships names, maybe a bit of a story, and try to show them well in screenshots.

@VanNick2309 it's not really a problem, and I'm only the former management of the site. Only here to help.

@asteroidbook345 just because it happened in Japan doesn't mean it happened in real life (:
Besides, that's a 12cm gun. This is 15.2cm gun.
@GabrielFangster70 yeah, I have slowed down quite a bit lately. I have some better builds under construction, this was supposed to be just a detail for one I gave up on.
@Ihavesnowball considering that it was meant for a ship that would carry twelve of them plus assorted smaller artillery, this is a lot of parts.
@ChrisPy thanks.
@asteroidbook345 this gun is far too big for a tank. Heavy SPGs started using 150mm only much later, when metallurgy allowed big guns to be lighter.
@FRIGGLES sure.
@Sobolllo I'm glad you like it.
@Firdu12 this build is very old, and I probably won't be upgrading it. Sorry.
@IzzyIA thanks.
