@Jim1the1Squid no, it's not a full-time job. As for RP, I don't care. If you have to post it on your profile to use it, make sure you make major changes.
@Jim1the1Squid There's no certain way to become a moderator. Just be a good user, be active, help others, make a reputation, be with the community for years, and maybe, just maybe you'll be picked to be a moderator if we ever happen to need one. Andrew will pick one among dozens of good users, and it just might be you. Then you get to solve problems of other users in your spare time.
@Jim1the1Squid around 180k. I'm by far the highest rated user to ever become a moderator. Becoming a moderator is a difficult goal though, as it's Andrew's personal choice.

Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.

@DPSAircraftManufacturer flaps are easy. Use this technique to get pretty wings and set inner control surface rotators to VTOL and their input to "-1,0".
@DPSAircraftManufacturer stock control surfaces act depending on the position of the wing, not position of the control surface. If most of the wing is ahead of CoM, elevators and flaps will act "reversed".
@belugasub no problem. I've already sent you the wing and you chose not to use it. I won't force it upon you. Your technique ain't bad either, just a bit more complicated and doesn't give a proper sharp trailing edge.
Reduce the drag. It has more drag than my country. You should aim for roughly correct power-to-weight ratio and then adjust drag to get realistic max speed. You'll have perfect acceleration. Looks great though.
@88blaroo trying matters a lot. You've gotten feedback on it, so now you know how to make a much better system next time. Also, what I forgot to tell you is that colors you used are really off-putting. Dark base against the dark background, with eyesore green drums of extra ammo. You should work a bit on that.
@ChunderDownUndeR you should have mentioned that in description. You would have gotten a higher quality and performance mark, though I didn't take out a lot from that anyway, not being sure if it's a feature.
@JohnnyBoythePilot systems operating such small missiles are usually light and mobile, meant to be at the very front line with troops to protect against drones and helicopters. This truck is too big for that, and would do area defence. In area defence role, any missile with the range of under 20km is useless. Furthermore, your system is not even independent, which frontline systems need to be. It needs a separate radar and command vehicle, as it doesn't appear to have a potent enough search radar and control room.
@JohnnyBoythePilot I said that the chassis wouldn't hold the system because the chassis is segmented instead of being one single tubular or frame chassis. Weak spots are right in front and behind the system. Also, a spam of small missiles wouldn't be effective, as there's too many of them, making reloading too expensive for the kind of system that is expected to spend four to five missiles per sortie.
@Minecraftpoweer yeah, my challenges tend to attract a lot of entries. I always try to make them as professionally as possible, considering what's lacking on the site, what people want to build, and that I've proven myself competent in making, and thus judging creations of that kind.
Leehopard's build really is incredible. His is the only high-caliber entry that has actual guided and proximity fused rounds.
@Tiseth you should have linked that picture. I tried searching the name of the build, but didn't find the picture you linked here. I probably would have if I searched more, but there were too many entries to do a thorough research on them. You would have gotten a few more design points.
@Awsomur my Trainer Challenge had to be separated into three posts, partially due to there being three categories. My General Aviation Challenge results also had to be two posts as I couldn't fit all entries into one.
Thank you all for participating. You can find your build on one of two pages of the results, with a little bit of feedback for each entry.

@UnguidedCylinder sure. I'm glad you like it. You can find instructions to the gun and a few better examples on Leehopard's profile.
@Kimcotupan15 thanks. Main goal was to keep the part count as low as possible.
+1@PositivePlanes @EliteArsenals24 thanks.
@ChiyomiAnzai thanks.

@DPSAircraftManufacturer what I mean is that by now, I might have over a hundred planes with flaps. That's over two hundred flaps :)
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer flaps are easy. Use this technique to get pretty wings and set inner control surface rotators to VTOL and their input to "-1,0".
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer might be over a hundred by now.
@DPSAircraftManufacturer with what?
@DPSAircraftManufacturer no problem.
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer you get to have flaps that only move one way (down) and that produce extra lift exactly where you put them.
+1@DPSAircraftManufacturer stock control surfaces act depending on the position of the wing, not position of the control surface. If most of the wing is ahead of CoM, elevators and flaps will act "reversed".
+1@Jerba dunno. It can throw quite a distance away.
Not fair! I'm not the first anymore :(
@SpencerTreePuncher what would that be? Heavy lift helicopter?
@Mmdben no problem. You may want to try this too.
@belugasub no problem. I've already sent you the wing and you chose not to use it. I won't force it upon you. Your technique ain't bad either, just a bit more complicated and doesn't give a proper sharp trailing edge.

+5@BlazeInfinity well, it needs a lock-on to fire. 60° would be great. Or 45°. The kind of angle at which the radar would allow it to launch.

@SirTimothy1943 at least now you know how to do better next time.
Who's reading this in 2019?
@UnguidedCylinder no problem. Your entry was perfectly acceptable. It would be great if it was smaller.
