You find a site with hexadecimal codes for colors. Then you select a color, take its code, go to xml file of your build, scroll to the bottom, find a color that you want to replace, and paste your hexadecimal code.

Torpedo, attacher (opposite of detacher), gyroscope, modern cannon, BogdanX's suggestion, better dummy (better than what we used to have long ago), glass, rope (flexible), leaf spring, cyclic option on rotator (custom rotator, would be useful to propell vehicles using your tracks mod), drive wheel for tracks mod, big rocket pod (rapid firing), road wheels for tracks,... I'm out of ideas for now. I know most of these are still beyond your capabilities, but if you make those that you can, it would be great.
PS: I almost forgot, triangular cross-section resizable fuselage block with editable corners.
It's really nice. Well armed, good looking, a lot of sensors. You could have made the underwater part of the hull a bit more realistic, but nobody looks at that anyway. Maybe some railings. Overall, one of the better modern ships I've seen on the site.
Judging by the size of the windows, it's the size of frigate. On the other hand, cruiser (guided missile cruiser) is a second largest type of warship, right behind the aircraft carrier.
Also, one suggestion. Round the bow. That wedge sheape looks too simple. You can see how to do it on some of my ships.
@RedstoneAeroAviation if I start fixing your build, I will probably bring it up to my standard, which means replacing and rebuilding most of it. Would you be able to take pride in a build on which most of the work was done by someone else? I'm always willing to give advice, but never to work on other people's builds. Try different tricks, experiment, try to do it your way, and if you get stuck, ask me how I did that specific something. For example, your boat is tilting. To prevent my boats from tilting, I use fuselage blocks with edited buoyancy. You can find them on this ship, inside the hull at waterline, in a form of 0.25x0.25x0.5 cylinders colored red.
Ships naturally tilt in turns. Samsung Note 2 is not much weaker than my phone. Switch physics settings to low, and work with what you have. You should practice doing a lot with not too many parts.
@ElysiumDarkness I might have a plane for you to finish. It has rather interesting shape, but so far no wings, engines, and landing gear. I'll tag you on unlisted. It might bring you enough upvotes to get you to 500.
