M.Corp Pegasus - Hunter class corvette

242k EternalDarkness  7.5 years ago

M.Corp Pegasus is a seventh Hunter class corvette. Hunter class is brand new class of 46 M.Corp corvettes. It's equipped for both surface and anti-submarine warfare. The primary armament of the Hunter class consists of eight medium range anti-ship missiles, six torpedo tubes, and a 76mm rapid-fire canon mounted on the foredeck. Ships defensive armament consists of two double stinger mounts and a 40mm auto-canon on the rear deck. It's often referred to as a frigate by other navies, due to its heavy armament, and sometimes as Destroyer escort, due to its usual role.

Serving in the Northern M.Corp Fleet, Pegasus features a "Broken Ice" camouflage pattern, designed to merge with the icy background of the polar regions.

Instructions:

-Throttle and Yaw to move the ship;
-Trim and VTOL to aim the main battery;
-Select "Air-to-ground" mod and "Rocket pod" to fire the main battery (49 shoots);
-Use the sight of the main battery to aim missiles;
-Torpedoes are not functional. One set of torpedo tubes is intentionally rotated into firing position.

I hope that you will enjoy sailing this ship as much as I enjoyed building it. If you do, upvote.

    @Solarisaircraft all it lacks are windows and a mast for radar and antennas. You can make that on iOS. Takes a bit of time and skill, but it can be done

    I made a small cruise liner based off of this. Unfortunately, I can't finish it. It would be really nice if you could finish it, since I really want to see how it turns out.

    @JMicah4 of course. Just link me the video, and follow instructions. Also, for more fun, I would suggest my most recent upload, M.Corp Serpent Missile Corvette, but it's up to you.

    Oh, this is my most favorite boat designed by you...

    @AdrianFlyingAce I generally don't make replicas. Also, there's no way I could make a mobile friendly destroyer of decent quality. They are too big, and usually have more than 150 individual weapons. Just making half of the weapon systems would make it too complex for mobile devices to handle.

    @EternalDarkness well the hull is easily fixable and also your advice is helpful. I'm sorry for wasting your precious time. Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry again for late reply

    @RedstoneAeroAviation if I start fixing your build, I will probably bring it up to my standard, which means replacing and rebuilding most of it. Would you be able to take pride in a build on which most of the work was done by someone else? I'm always willing to give advice, but never to work on other people's builds. Try different tricks, experiment, try to do it your way, and if you get stuck, ask me how I did that specific something. For example, your boat is tilting. To prevent my boats from tilting, I use fuselage blocks with edited buoyancy. You can find them on this ship, inside the hull at waterline, in a form of 0.25x0.25x0.5 cylinders colored red.

    Ships naturally tilt in turns. Samsung Note 2 is not much weaker than my phone. Switch physics settings to low, and work with what you have. You should practice doing a lot with not too many parts.

    @EternalDarkness and also it tips to the side a lot when turning but its unsinkable is there any way to fix that?

    @EternalDarkness well the bow is fixed. but I am running on Samsung Note 2 and it cannot handle something above 300 parts. 200 are laggy enough.... and also.. the ship that im telling you to fix has and outdated upload. so.. I can give you the link later if you agree to help.

    @RedstoneAeroAviation well, why don't you just copy techniques I used on this one? When you remove camouflage pattern, they are quite obvious.
