M.Corp C-1C Albatross

A standard M.Corp medium cargo plane. It has detailed cockpit, functional loading ramp, cargo area, and realistic size and performance. It was quite a lot of work getting this baby right, mostly due to lag on my phone. Big thanks to Johndfg for giving me an insight into his building technique. As some of you might notice, the title says C-1C. So, what happened with C-1 and C-1B? Well, since this is my first time using this technique, I wasn't planning ahead. The nose of C-1 was awful. So I re-did the nose and named that version C-1B. Later on, I discovered that my design makes installation of the loading ramp impossible, so I redesigned the entire tail section, lower half of the fuselage, and landing gear, to get the space for the ramp. That's C-1C. I was also planning to make NC-1, a maritime patrol version, AC-1, a gunship, EW-1 AWACS version etc, but gave up due to lag.

Instructions:
VTOL for loading ramp, Trim for flaps.

Enjoy

@Noelayechan00 yes. Just be sure to state in description that I personally allowed it so other mods don't remove it.

@MEERKAT978 yes. Counter it with more powerful engines.

@EternalDarkness Gotcha. So its perfectly normal?

@MEERKAT978 they always cause a lot of drag

How do you make fuselage wings without causing a massive increase in drag or is it impossible?

@EternalDarkness good to see we are in similar situations I have a windows 7 phone, now I know that sounds amazing but trust me it isn't.

@Redstreak45 no. A phone I used was often overheating due to SP, and suffered battery and processor damage. Now I'm on laptop, as my new phone is a potato.

@EternalDarkness do you still use a phone?

the new van flies better but it doesn't have a cargo hold. so pick your poison.

@F104Deathtrap thanks. I'm glad you like it. It sure was difficult to build. The phone I was using at the time could barely run it.

The cockpit in particular is very impressive. Usually for cockpits this detailed, people make it in miniature and hide it inside a block or something, but you managed to make the whole thing 1:1 I will probably need to study this build if I ever want to be able to make larger, more complicated designs in the future.

Hi, can I please use your some part of your plane? I will give you the Credit. @EternalDarkness

@ElysiumDarkness it's a feature I (think I) saw on Transal C-160. Purpose of such a feature is to allow smaller landing gear pods, and safe landing with landing gear retracted, or at least that's how I see it. Since the plane is meant to be operated from unprepared surfaces, it needs a large landing gear, which would take huge gear pods to retract into without breaking into the cargo area.

@EternalDarkness indeed I did but my only flaw with the C-1C is that the back wheels don't come up, that's a small pet peeve I have with larger planes like this I have, they deserve to have as good aerodynamics as possible
