Because your mouse broke? I bought mine in a store for $2. Low quality, but gets the job done as good as any other.

  • Status-6 OMS (Poseidon) 7.2 years ago

With a large high explosive warhead, this can blow up a portion of a carrier fleet. If its nuclear capability is estimated correctly, this is the most powerful weapon ever made. Still, since Russia is holding defensive position, trying to keep the geopolitical scene as it is against US aggressions, it will probably never get deployed. Regardless of strength in terms of conventional military, USA will never risk Russian nuclear retaliation.

  • Fiat G.06 7.2 years ago

    @getorge no problem.

  • Fiat G.06 7.2 years ago

@getorge it only accelerates too fast. I don't think roll is extreme. Pitch is maybe a bit too powerful, but, again, not extreme.

  • Fiat G.06 7.2 years ago

@getorge yeah, I noticed them when I downloaded. When I see rounded trailing edge, I automatically assume control surfaces are simply covered by fuselage and don't download. This time I have downloaded because of Bogdan's comment on performance.

  • Fiat G.06 7.2 years ago

Why don't you try out a trailing edge made out of inlets? That way you can have a sharp trailing edge with a curve at the end.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 that happens rarely. I bet you haven't even tried on this one. I did downscale it, and it worked right. It just needed suspension and engine tweaking.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 you finish all that, scale the build down via FineTuner, and then just tweak suspension strength, engine power...

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 why don't you just scale the whole build to realistic size before you tweak performance?

  • The (late) SimplePlanes Weekly, with Awsomur [26] 7.2 years ago

@Awsomur no problem. We can discuss this further tomorrow. It's getting late now.

  • mcdonnell douglas DC-3 7.2 years ago

@DJS8Corporations Overload mod lets you edit properties of stock parts in some amazing ways, and a person who downloads the build you used Overload on doesn't need to have the mod installed. It will open a lot of new possibilities to you.

  • The (late) SimplePlanes Weekly, with Awsomur [26] 7.2 years ago

@Awsomur regarding the interviews, as they say on the Internet, git gut scrub. Prepare a set of questions and pick a top end user to ask.

  • The (late) SimplePlanes Weekly, with Awsomur [26] 7.2 years ago

You are not progressing with a form of these. Still no interviews with great builders, no in depth presentations of new things... These are still just headlines. And mediocre ones at that.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 it most certainly won't be air superiority fighter challenge. There are five fighter templates, so all entries would look like one another. It'll be a broader subject.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 there is "realism" criteria. 6.7m wide and 18m long APC is a thing of post apocalyptic movies.

  • Properties of rockets and any method of armour can counter rockets? 7.2 years ago

Explosinons destroy connections, so no matter how much armor you add your build gets killed. Adding health only protects from bullets. Or at least that's what I think.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@Hawkeye156 off road capability of your vehicle is great. But it's twice as big compared to the obstacles than it should be.

  • T H E F L E X T A P E - P L A N E 7.2 years ago

@JetFighter then you edited max angle, not max input. Or you had a bug.

  • T H E F L E X T A P E - P L A N E 7.2 years ago

@JetFighter to reduce angle to under ten degrees, resort to editing input in Overload.

  • T H E F L E X T A P E - P L A N E 7.2 years ago

Very interesting concept. I would just reduce the roll, it's hard to control.

  • mcdonnell douglas DC-3 7.2 years ago

This is a very nice build for your level, so, unlike the guys below, I'll give you a few advices to make 'em even better. You can make a custom landing gear retract with landingGear button if you set input to "landingGear" via Overload mod and hollow fuselage will look smoother if you let panels overlap. Also, I think you should invest into custom control surfaces. You can take apart some existing builds to see how.

NATO declined the use of chemical weapons. Lol, only US still admits to having a stockpile of chemical stuff. Still, great creaton. Hexagonal pattern looks amazing.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@XMarcoX I didn't allow any bad ones to compete. So, for your first take on IFV, qualifying is already a good thing.

Absolutely amazing. Except for that nose wheel rotator that pops out when you retract gear, that is.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@F104Deathtrap so do I. I'll probably start another challenge this week.

  • Northrop T-38A Talon 7.2 years ago

@TheMutePaper my suggestion is to exploit new possibilities to the fullest. Remove all drag and add artificial drag by using a single fuselage block with drag enabled. Hide actual flaps inside the nose, and add more wings inside the visible ones. Also, with far less drag, you'll need weaker engines for realistic speed, allowing for realistic acceleration and climb rate.

  • Northrop T-38A Talon 7.2 years ago

It looks great, but flies like a brick with a jet engine. Reduce mass or add wings. Also, flaps don't do anything.

  • Armoured Fighting Vehicle Challenge Results 7.2 years ago

@F104Deathtrap thanks for the kind words buddy. Still, it is by far the least successful of my challenges.

@WalrusAircraft we weren't "masters" back when we added you. We were a SimplePlanes chat group on Google Hangouts. You were active for only a few days when we added you. It was around a year and a half ago, I think. Now we are on Discord, and we'd like to have you back. We now have a few more mature members, so you'd fit better. If you are interested, I'll send you a link on an unlimited post.

  • Bedford VAL - British Airways Airport Bus 7.2 years ago

@Avro683Lancaster no problem. There are, however, a few "flaws". Engine is way too powerful, and turning is set to yaw. It's normal for a vehicle like this to flip if you do a hard turn at full speed, but with yaw input, we can't use anything less than full turning power. I suggest roll instead for your next land based build. There's also a way to reduce braking power in xml (or Overload) and to make wheels turn (as in when you are turning the vehicle) far slower. Experiment with that for better user experience.

    I forgot :)

  • Hercules 7.2 years ago

Wait, did you just use rotators? Nice build.

  • Su-35S Flanker E 7.2 years ago

There's just one flaw: you forgot to add "xeroOnDeactivate" to TVC rotators. Other than that, good job.
