While the ship looks very nice, idea of having two different calibers of big guns is awful. Such system was used on large warships until HMS Dreadnought introduced uniform main battery. When you have two sets of similar guns with different ballistic properties, it creates confusion with fire control, as you're not sure which splashes are from which guns and can't appropriately adjust fire.
@jimmyje it has been said a number of times that SPVR won't support building, but only using the builds. Thus, all of the parts and features are coming to SimplePlanes as update 1.11, so that they can be used on the future builds.
What changes did you make to the original? Reposting builds without major modifications is against the rules. A moderator will probably remove this build. I encourage you to make some changes, like making a new weapon system for it or adding interior, and post again.
@DaVinci all these parts are coming for non-VR version. You can't build in VR, so all the parts need to be available in the base game Then you take a craft from the base game and play with it in VR if you have VR.
@Tookan more than before. Quit a bit of time has been freed up by not having to deal with reports, successor link requests, and other stuff. I have a few builds awaiting update parts.
@PotatoJenkins1 read the rest of the post. It later turned out it was due to my brief rant about BLM protests on a different server, one that is not upen to the community.
@Strikefighter04 I don't really mind losing the mod role. It was becoming quite a burden anyway. I'm just a bit annoyed I won't be able to work in the interest of the community on such high level anymore.
Thank you all for support. I wasn't expecting so many of you will be there. I can't possibly hope to reply to each of your comments individually, but I appreciate them all.
I advise against going so far with this. Thank you for being on my side, but there's really no battle to wage here. Jundroo doesn't want my assistance in an official manner, and they won't have it. I was helping the community before I was a mod, and I will continue to do so regardless of the red tag.
@ZWLenning cancel culture has taken the US. You tell a joke about something, someone gets offended, and you're done for. As if it were run by Mujahideen.
Oh, and another suggestion. Quit posting them from the side against a black background. Be a bit creative with each thumbnail. Load a image into the editor as blueprint and take a picture of it instead of the build itself.
@Atoka220 when you start building, set that property to the very first fuselage block you get. Then just build the rest by cloning that block (right click the block and drag). That way all fuselage blocks you use will be drag free. Set the same property to any inlets and hollow blocks you use. Then, when you're done, give drag back to the biggest block you can find and adjust dragScale. The property is in part tab of Overload.
My technique is to have an enormous buoyant block, as long and wide as possible, placed exactly on the center of mass. Move it up or down and adjust buoyancy, and have those four on each side simply to trim it a bit as CoM moves and to improve stability a bit.
You can make her behave realistically in the waves by using a single huge fuselage block for the bulk of buoyancy. Then have one small buoyant block on each side of it to trim the ship. Set center of mass realistically low, and it will pitch and roll realistically.
As stevemc01 mentioned, calculateDrag = false makes builds run better. It will also help with performance, as you will be able to easily adjust drag with a single huge part to get both realistic speed and acceleration. I advise giving the underwater part of the bow some love too.
@CenturyAerospace WNP did mention additional features to the cut option in one of the pinned comments. What you are talking about moght be one of those options. All we can do is wait and see when the update drops.
@CenturyAerospace or you can just remove 60% of two fuselage blocks and set them as cockpit sides. Then you have a gap between them, both on top and at the bottom.
@tsampoy I did it first but you did it better :)

+3Try
+1Pitch - IAS/x
. Adjust "x" as needed, smaller number reduces reduction of elevator deflection less as the speed increases.@Skylerr your tag must have failed. I'm still here.
Welcome back :)
It should have been wider. 10-1 beam to length ratio looks a bit odd. Other than that, very nice boat.
+1@21212123 I have used some tricks to reduce part count.
@SimpleHelper thanks :)
@Strucker have someone else do it.
@Strucker very well. Have the server owner submit the new description via DM on Discord.
+2@jimmyje it has been said a number of times that SPVR won't support building, but only using the builds. Thus, all of the parts and features are coming to SimplePlanes as update 1.11, so that they can be used on the future builds.
+8@sharkysSPacc it wouldn't fly. Or it would require a complex input on a set of jets to artificially simulate lift.
@sharkysSPacc not having any wings seems to break the calculation, as it tries to divide with zero.
@sharkysSPacc unfortunately, since I'm no longer a moderator, I can't do that. @Vincent can, or @DeezDucks.
You guys forgot to pin this. I almost missed it.
+8@DeezDucks congratulations, and good luck.
+5@JuanNotAnAlt hi
@JuanNotAnAlt hi. How may I help you?
@Clutch nope.
Good idea. If the new parts work the way I expect them to work, it will be possible to simulate the gun perfectly,
+2That's the one that makes everyone at Dakar rally disappointed when it shows up, because it's gonna win again?

+3@Chillybaconface I'm back to building stuff. My current builds all need parts that will come with the update, so I'm not posting yet.
+1@Tookan more than before. Quit a bit of time has been freed up by not having to deal with reports, successor link requests, and other stuff. I have a few builds awaiting update parts.
+1That's the most creative way of reloading I've ever seen.
Edit: I have launched nine balls at once.
Yes, it looks impressive. Four commander/driver cupolas might be a bit of an overkill, but it's a very nice vehicle regardless, @JuanNotAnAlt.
@PotatoJenkins1 read the rest of the post. It later turned out it was due to my brief rant about BLM protests on a different server, one that is not upen to the community.
+3@JuanNotAnAlt I'm not much of an expert on tanks. I can do it if there's nobody else though.
@JuanNotAnAlt np.
+1@Strikefighter04 I don't really mind losing the mod role. It was becoming quite a burden anyway. I'm just a bit annoyed I won't be able to work in the interest of the community on such high level anymore.
+5@RC1138Boss it will never be a community without me. Only difference is that I can't ban people anymore.
@RC1138Boss it's fine. There's no need for anyone to get banned over this.

@AvalonIndustries thanks for the kind words.
@Atoka220 you can find a link to the server in the list pinned on the forums. It's near the top (totally not because it's my own server).
Oh, and another suggestion. Quit posting them from the side against a black background. Be a bit creative with each thumbnail. Load a image into the editor as blueprint and take a picture of it instead of the build itself.
Are you in PortSP Discord server? We discuss this kind of stuff all the time there.

@Wibbley sure.

+1@OtakuNekoToT even if one of the presets isn't altitude indicator, and I think one is, gauge can accept custom inputs.
