@EternalDarkness 15th place is not that bad for a rushed build. Would expect
mine to be lower. I got caught up with the minimum part count and just threw a bunch of random parts just to reach the quota haha. That explains a few flaws. Miniguns are totally unnecessary, just thought it looked cool and just kept it there lol. Thanks for the nice review on my build. Goes to show that you really put an effort to check each one of the users builds. From realistic features and how well it works. You even spotted some indistinct flaws. For me it is quite hard manage a challenge but you handled it very well. Great job on officiating this challenge! Hope to see more weapon-related challenges haha.

Well that screenshot really made me click on this lol. Anyways nice build. Just tried it and it flies well and nice to keep the part count a little low for mobile peeps.
Very awesome. I like the use of gears and technical stuff. Really gives a realistic feel into it. And I especially love how the recoil system works and how the gun fires with a bit of a smoke effect. Still there is one that I would like to suggest. I noticed that the gunner seat is static rather that move with the elevation of the gun but I think that is just a minor issue. All in all this is one of the best AA guns I've seen in this site.
I am not bothered if I get mentions lol. I actually want to get mentioned in other peoples builds especially when related to weapons so don't be shy to call me or ask for help. I am quite fine too :). Actually stopped playing for 4 months due to the lost of interest to the game but came back as soon as the update came out. So yeah now I am back and quite active too. I see that you came back to which is great news! Hope to see more of your builds.
If you want to save your build as a sub you can go to the simpleplanes file. Open AircraftDesign folder select the build, copy all the xml stuff then go to subassembly folder select a subassembly then overwrite the xml of the build to the subassemly's xml.
