@GhostHTX no worries, I understand the conflict. USA didn’t make it to the tournament, which kills me, so I’m rooting for Uruguay (which is a David among Goliaths), England (with whose military I worked closely while stationed overseas a few years ago) and Argentina, where I lived a short while...of course if England meets Argentina it’s going to be a brutal match given past history, but should be interesting to watch!
@TheSleepingInsomniac great, thanks for your kind appraisal. That bombsight was kind of a bear to get right, but I’m glad you appreciate it. As a brand new member of the community, welcome, lots of great builds available on the site and you’ll find we’re a very friendly and helpful community. If you have questions, simply tag a user by using the @ followed by the user name (no space) and you’ll find most are pretty responsive.
Yes, seems to fly great at 100% forward thrust, slightly (2 degrees or so) nose up and no vertical thrust, around 360 mph or so. Doesn’t act the same without the cargo pod, just flips over end over end!
I saw this yesterday, something is broken with image posting on SP. I spoke to one of the Mods and I think they’re aware of the problem, but think it’s due to a change with Imgur. Not sure what is the way forward and when we might expect a fix.
Great build, lots of fun to fly and blow things up! I tried to post a screenshot to push your build as I cannot Spotlight you anymore due to points but to my immense frustration, something either with SP, or Imgur or iOS or all three together is preventing me from seeing images I post...? Anyway, I like your iOS take on the Eagle (my very first featured build was an F-15 I built on iOS, so I’m partial...yeah)!
Good proportions, nice detailing, I especially like the curved roundels (must have taken a bit of work), flies pretty well (auto roll is a bogey to almost all complex builds, would love to solve it for the entire community). A couple of design choices led you into directions I wouldn't necessarily have gone, which I find interesting. I especially like the speed brake function...very accurate...843 parts, wow! Very heavy, though newer devices (such as my iPhone 8) won't have problems handling it, so don't think it should be as much of a deterrent as some builders. Nice, wish I could Spotlight this, but I don't have the points!
Nimble, (realistically) fast, lethal, disposable, the robots are going to kill us all. I hate drones (RPAs). Nice build, accelerates s bit swiftly, would turn a human pilot into goo, but I’m sure the positronic brain would survive the Gs...
@RASEN1914 not sure about the realistic ammo load...try it out and see, I’m thinking about doing the same thing on my F-100 build for an air to ground version
You’re on iOS, but this build is very mod-heavy. One mod which would probably helped your realism for this one would have been to cut the engine power; this build accelerates like it has a Saturn V rocket strapped to it!
Oh my, this thing is so much fun! Attacking the convoy was great, though it didn’t go so well for Flt Lt Archibald A. Archlighter, RAF, V.C. (Posthumous) and Flt Sgt Bob Smith, RAF, D.F.C. (Posthumous). Their aircraft went down alongside the Nazi convoy they were attacking...I wish I could Spotlight this one, but you have more points than I do!
Also depends if you're building on iOS or PC or Android. XML modification, either by going to the aircraft file or using the Overload mod to the basic SP program is not possible if you're on iOS. You'll have to disable collisions and set a rotator to "LandingGear", not possible to do yourself on iOS. However, if you're on PC or Android, you should be able to make the mods necessary for custom landing gear. However, if on iOS, you may be able to do what @F104Deathtrap says, use the gear from his or another builder's creation, change as necessary and stick it on yours.
This thing is absolutely bonkers, and I absolutely love it! Great job on the wing, very pretty. I wish this thing were real, it would be magnificent, probably too loud, too big and impractical, but magnificent!
@ArrowheadDesignCompany well, at least you read the description all the way to the end...glad you enjoyed it that much. By the way, I always tag that at the end of my builds because my T-37 flight commander always closed his morning briefing by saying exactly that. I then said it to my students through the years.
@CRJ900Pilot thanks!
@Carbonfox1 glad you liked it, both the build and the story.
@BaconRoll thanks!
@Tang0five thank you. TC was an inspiration for that bit of writing.

@GhostHTX glad you liked the story...I’m not sure what I’m more proud of, the story, or the build itself! Cheering for the England side?
Great features and thought in this build, fun to fly, nice!
Interesting. To what end, do you plan on installing this on a future build?
@EternalDarkness a couple of hours. Just letting off a bit of creative energy.
Looks great from some angles but the cockpit is waaay too bulbous. Have you downloaded 3-views from the-blueprints.com?
BTW, which platform are you using to host images, now that Imgur has crapped out for SP?
It would turn the pax to goo as soon as you pulled the 12 G turn....buuuut, I like it. Here’s an upvote at the audacity of your concept!

Bonkers!
Well, this is a very fun build.
@EternalDarkness yeah, haven’t had the motivation to try another image hosting site, though I should. Any recommendations?

Very strangely, it actually “flies” with zero thrust coming out of the vertical lift engines and the lack of any wings...must be a lifting body 🤔
Wow, very cool. Very easy to fly, landed on Beast first attempt and no drama.

I’m on an iPhone8 and trying to do it through that platform. Posting same image link on Discord and it works fine.
Anyone else having this problem?
@RailfanEthan what do you mean? SP will not post images or what? What’s not working: Imgur or SP???
@EternalDarkness do you see a picture?
I have an Imgur account, I know the whole ! [ Name ] ( link here ) format thing, I cannot find a link on Imgur that works! Using an iPhone
Rebuild the actual wing by using a structural wing with control surfaces enabled using XML.

@Alien thank you, sir! I’m glad you like it.

Ya know...not to be snarky or anything, but the 72’ had a “T” tail...
Very nice, extremely photo realistic. I like it.

@MoonKnight glad you like it! I’m also in that area.

@AudioDud3 ? Not sure what you mean...
This thing is cool, I’ve always liked the Gee Bee racers, nice!
I think it’s a pretty good Flanker, IMHO

Flies majestically.
Very nice
Welcome back!
Thanks @RAF1, @Sgtk, @AdlerSteiner!
The robots are going to kill us all...
Crazy maneuverable, I thought I was going to G out, and I wasn’t even actually in the cockpit!

@PhantomBladeCorp it would be the pinnacle of SP hubris to concur with your statement, but I’m happy you like this one ;)
